Frank and Leo go full long distance relationship for a while after the war with Gaea is over. Frank is the new praetor so he has learn a lot of stuff and handle all the responsibilities. Leo is The Genius Mechanic™ of Camp Half Blood which was partially destroyed during the last battle, so he has to stay there to help rebuild it, and also discover the secrets of Bunker 9. But when one of the camps have to deliver anything - and I mean anything - to the other, they volunteer as tributes faster then Katniss did. Frank is pretty low-key. He just drives to New York, surprises Leo with a hug and that's basically it. But Leo? O-HO-HO! This man rebuilt Festus for a REASON. He flies to Camp Jupiter like there is no tomorrow, probably forgetting the thing that he had to deliver because he wants a reason to come back again, and when he arrives, he lands in the middle of the biggest piazza just for the Drama™ and there is nothing anyone can do to stop him because they see the way their praetor smile, sigh, and go clean the mess his absolute menace of a boyfriend had caused.

Shortly after this incident, Percy had been spotted across America causing explosions with two other unidentified children; incidents including the bombing of the Gateway Arch causing a manhunt after the 12 year old. Little did the nation know, that a mysterious man had kidnapped Percy and had been chasing him across the country. Shortly after Percy was rescued safe, his mother had been miraculously found and uninjured.

any headcanons for Hephaestus x Dionysus?

Ooh I have a few!

- Hephaestus makes anything and everything materialistic Dionysus wants. Wine cups, chariot, jewelries. Especially jewelries.

- Hephaestus tends to overwork himself so Dionysus and Aglaia often come up with plans to take his mind off of his work (this of course includes wine parties every time)

^ Hephaestus acts like he's regretful everytime he ends up getting drunk and having fun, but he secretly loves it.

- Dionysus has visited so many places, including India, so he often suggests unique and creative patterns from those places that Hephaestus can put on his prosthetic leg(s).

- Dionysus names all of Hephaestus' automatons. He chooses very funny ridiculous names for each of them.

- Hephaestus is shy when it comes to showing physical affection/ romance (Dionysus finds it cute) and Dionysus is overtly bold at it so they kinda balance out each other.

If he really wanted her in the series he could’ve made her a mother figure to them and when she realized she loved them like they were her own children, the raft would appear. It would’ve been so much more impactful to their stories.

Percy who is conflicted cause his mom is still alive and doesn’t wanna give up hope on getting back to her. And Leo who’s mother is dead and would desperately flourish under a mother’s watchful eye, yet he is also conflicted cause he believes that he killed his biological mother so he doesn’t deserve another one.
