Herbal remedy with alien origins?
Cernitol is an herbal remedy made from pollen that was created by Gösta Carlsson in the 1950's. It is used to help with certain urinary problems. But is there more behind these pollen pills?
The man known as the "Pollen King" in Sweden claims that on May 18, 1946 he came across a landed craft in the Kronoskogen forest. Gösta was then invited onboard by the ship's captain where he was given information about natural remedies.
Gösta "Pollen King" Carlsson used the information he learned aboard the extraterrestrial craft to create the recipe for his pollen pills which led to two very successful pharmaceutical companies, Cernelle and Allergon. In the 1960's Carlsson used his new found wealth to purchase the Swedish hockey club, Rögle BK.
In 1963 Gösta Carlsson erected a memorial on the site of his alien encounter. After constructing his concrete UFO monument he also cowrote a book recollecting the whole event with Clas Svahn.
After the release of the book, Mötet i gläntan, sold out the Ängelholm Municipality began organizing guided tours of the UFO Memorial.
