Oh how I wish I was a koi! Theyre such majestic creatures with history and folktales!

If I was a koi fish in a backyard pond, I would wait ecstatically for my human (what else is there to do?)

I would get so excited to see them feeding me and even sticking their hand in the pond so they could pet me!!!

Tw sui ideation and self infliction

So I did some research on suicide and self infliction in animals. The most comparable to humans would be primates.

A lot of cases I read involved birds plucking out their feathers and/or tearing open their chest cavity. (Which, I do kin to cardinal birds). Most I do is slitting and biting and scratching

Cats and dogs sulk and deprived themselves from food, usually sticking to isolation and dying afterwards. I didn’t find cases of self infliction. I usually punish myself by not eating and isolate myself (which isn’t that hard since I’m a loser loner)

Now, I didn’t find any relating to fish! Do you think fish purposefully bonk themselves against the glass just like how I do with my wall/desk? Do they also starve themselves like me? They don’t have limbs, so they can’t really…. Do much.

I’ll do more reading! I love reading!
