Having trouble deciding on a sexuality for your OC? Or just looking for more sexuality diversity in general? Well, look no further. I’ve set up a generator – or three, rather – that will allow you to find a wonderful orientation for your character!
Step one: Use this wheel to create a basic template for your character’s orientation type, then consult the information below to find out what to do next.
Alloromantic-allosexual or oriented aroace: Skip step two and go directly to step three.
Alloromantic-acespec, arospec allosexual, or arospec-acespec: Go to step two.
Step two: Congratulations! Your character is on the aro and/or ace spectrum! Use this wheel to determine where.
Spin once for an alloromantic-acespec, arospec allosexual, or arospec-acespec with the note (same position on spectrum) or twice for an arospec-acespec with the note (different position on spectrum), once for romantic and once for sexual orientation.
If you spin the same position twice, you can keep it or respin until you get something different. Then, unless your character’s orientations all fall into aro/ace, cupio, apothi, abro, quoi, or ageo, go to step three. Otherwise, congratulations! You’re done!
Step three: Now it’s time to determine which genders your character is actually attracted to!
Use this wheel to find which genders the character is attracted to. If your result in step one included “varioriented,” spin twice: once for romantic orientation and once for sexual orientation. Otherwise, spin once.
That’s it! You now have a random sexuality for your character, and based on your character’s gender it shouldn’t be too hard to finish putting a label on it!
