Okay before I was just annoyed but now I’m just PISSED

I had a sneaking suspicion they were purposely portraying Twyla more childish/infantile. Which you know. IS A HORRIBLE FUCKINB STEREOTYPE AND BOX AUTISTIC PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY SHOVED AND REPRESSED AS.

Before I didn’t have proof. Just their design choices and the fact Twyla’s voice actor Kayla naturally has a deeper voice then what she portrays her as.

but what the FUCK is this?! Wanted to make her sound more ‘Adorable. High pitched. Child like’. What in the rainbow sprinkle fucking unicorns is that?! Tell me WHAT study told them to portray the only autistic character as childlike?! Tell me WHO THE FUCK thought purposely portraying the only character who says their autistic and repeatedly is on tv as more childlike and ‘adorable’ would make a positive impact for the autistic community?!
