Nia Tinker is an artistic 14 year old who's main passion is singing, but she also enjoys acting and dancing. She hopes that her artistic creation and expression will provide hope for others, and allow them to see and truly believe that they can do anything regardless of skin color, age, gender etc. One of Nia's personal artistic inspirations is the legend Mr. Michael Jackson. Nia is continuously working on perfecting her craft. She is a proud singer in the International choir of Toronto, and is currently working on the come back of her YouTube channel so stay tuned! Repost from @brechanelle via @igrepost_app There's an elderly man who's (80 years young as he says) that I often bump into at the bus stop and everytime I see him he comes to talk to me and tells me the same story; The story of how he met his wife, the love of his life who has now passed. My favourite part is when he sings the song he wrote for her, it takes my soul to such a safe place. My soul finds freedom in the crevices of his words. His love for his wife lasted even beyond the point that death did them part. Everytime he tells their story he allows their love to continue to breathe. Whoever said true love doesn't exist or that relationships aren't all they cracked up to be... I refuse to believe that. Even after being hurt, after tear filled nights, after having my mind haunted and my esteem beaten I still believe in love and I'll never give up on it. Love is the essence of who I am. Love is my #freedomcorner I hear the same story each time I encounter him, but each time I gain something different. It's a beautiful experience really. ❤ What's your #freedomcorner ?
