Jokes aside, I don't really get into arguments a lot but when at home I go on a calming walk with my children (the dogs). After like three seconds in the Fjerdan air any hot temper immediately cools down.

When I'm not at home I go outside anyway and try to think of something else!

i love how fjerda’s polytheistic theology feels almost pre-human like they remember what it means to worship the land itself. they bury their dead in the ice and trust the rivers to carry their souls back to djel. they pray to water, to the soil tangled with tree roots, to the silence under snow.

and it reminds me of icelandic folklore, how they say glacier lakes are haunted, made from ancient ice that remembers the souls, where the living meet the dead.

Kind of? I'm not entirely sure, I guess haha. Feelings aren't my strong suit, especially not THAT kind of feelings. I feel the differences are really hard to spot and the lines are very blurred, so...I can't give you a clear answer to that, sorry!
