Another victim of Melanie Martinez has spoken out, this time not being a victim of rape (according to Madeleineās words) but of being coerced & manipulated into sex. Melanie is a predator, and I canāt even begin to imagine what other people she may have hurt.
Okay lemme explain why this is basically an admission of guilt and therefore qualifies as the āevidenceā every dumbass Melanie stan has been looking for:
- The word choice is EXTREMELY deliberate. Notice how instead of saying āit was consensualā or even āshe said yesā Melanie says āshe didnāt say no.ā This is pulled straight from the book of āexcuses rapists use to justify their actions;ā despite the fact that itās likely a lie (Timothy says that she said no multiple times and Iām obligated to believe her because why tf would she lie about that) even if it is true is doesnāt make what happened not rape. If Timothy was coerced and pressured into sex it doesnāt matter if she ādidnāt say noā or even if she said yes. She was manipulated, making this a rape.
- Admission of engaging in sexual activity with Timothy flushes those bullshit āthey were just casual acquantaincesā and āTimothy is just jealous of Melanieās fameā theories down the toilets. I hope everyone who claimed that feels real fucking disgusting right now.
- Melanie has dug her own grave by simultaneously asserting that a) she initiated sex with Timothy and b) she terminated their friendship shortly after, which is a blatant signal of manipulation; inspiring complete dependency, followed by abandonment, cultivating trust issues and emotional trauma that will last a lifetime. I know because this has happened to me, multiple times. Itās an abuse tactic and it needs to be taken seriously.

IDK if you still post to this blog anymore or not but putting out a trigger warning for the followers just in case, Melanie Martinez just released a music video for her song "Pacify Her" and just. the sexualization of child-like imagery is pretty intense in the ending of this music video, it made me pretty uncomfortable.

while i dont agree with some examples you include for artists, and i do see some examples you provide for being offensive are a bit of a stretch, i do support what ur doing as far as educating others on particular demographics that are repeatedly overlooked, and holding our idols to the same standards as we would anyone else. i dont agree with demonizing artists, especially ones that just are ignorant on subjects, but i do like that you can recogonize they can change, keep up the good work!

As a CSA survivor, Melanie's infantile sexualization/fetishization is harmful to me as it romanticizes the abuse and rape I've faced. Her music isn't specifically harmful to mentally ill people, it's harmful to psychotic ppl, CSA survivors, ppl w/ eating disorders, as well as others but Im outta space
