Help a disabled trans person facing homelessness!!
Hi there !! I'm Jellie, a transmasc nonbinary person who is majorly struggling right now. I started working about four months ago but am now on medical leave due to a myriad of problems.
When I was 12, I got into a skiing accident that gave me a hairline fracture in my kneecap as well as other issues with my knee that I'm not exactly privy to. Unfortunately, when I got this injury my father decided that I did not need to go to the doctor's office and I didn't end up going until three years later, at 15, due to immense pain. My dad hid the records of that visit from me but I WAS told that my knee had healed incorrectly and it would need to be broken and reset to be fixed. This was not done for a number of reasons, mostly that my dad wouldn't pay for it, and all I got was a knee brace that he was angry with me for having.
Apologies for the trauma dump. All this to say, my knee is absolutely janked up and I can't walk on it for extended periods of time anymore. Along with that I'm having reproductive issues which are putting me through a mess of a mental roller coaster. I haven't been able to work for the last couple of weeks, and I simply can't survive off of my grandparents' help. I'm actively searching for a new job as hard as I can, but if I can't get the money I need for rent I'm going to lose my housing.
All I'm looking for is $500, and I will do a drawing for anyone who donates $5 or more. If you want to do a big donation, my commissions are open !!
So here are my money apps:
