i need to run an idea by you guys because i'm bored ("Cosplayer" Creator AU lmao)

i'm doing the lantern rite and since cosplay is an actual thing in the universe: creator au where u really are the creator except everyone assumes you're cosplaying, so it becomes a weird impostor au but no one wants u dead. they just think youre really good at roleplaying
only the archons, traveler, and some observant vision holders can tell that you're the real deal, but you look like youre having so much fun just screwing around so they dont bother telling anyone else. you drop in at liyue (because the land of cosplayers apparently. you'd think it was inazuma) and Zhongli takes it upon himself to be your guide. he says so he can supplement you with the knowledge of what the creator should be like (pretending that he thinks you're just a cosplayer, too, but really he just wants to make sure that you're safe during this whole fiasco (also he wants to rub it into the other archons faces that he's the one you're with but shh no one heard that)).
you're eventually accompanied by zibai because "cosplay besties" who are "pretending" to get a sense of the world. zhongli is in a constant state of envy because yall are getting along too well just for being newbies to Teyvat (although not completely because you're literally a player and she's gone through this rodeo before essentially being sent to super hell moon.) He does enjoy being your tour guide tho (the best travel guide in teyvat is now zhongli).
you spend your days exploring teyvat as a cosplayer that's "trying to collect material for your role" and everyone thinks you're doing such a good job at what you're doing that they're just cheering you on and "helping" you in "your work and hobby". you'd think that the three of you would be poor but no. at some point, zhongli finesses his way through everything and reasons that since you were on a hunt for everything you could find out about the creator you were "cosplaying" as and you already know a whole lot more than anyone, he convinces people that you were currently the biggest archive of information about the creator that existed. and this is zhongli we're talking about -- who is like known to be one of if not the biggest supporters of the creator -- so most people believe it. you start making deals with people about exchanging detailed and trustworthy information about yourself the creator in exchange for money (you couldn't believe the amount of money people were willing to fork over just to know what color you preferred for the day it was kinda wild). you get offers from artists, researchers, all the way to treasure hunters for information and you're like hey they already know a heck ton why the hell not.
does it make complete sense? ofc not. this is more crack idea than anything. but i'm thinking of making this a bit more coherent in a fic format that's similar to who's to say what's fake or real. but that depends. are you guys interested? i'm just sort of yapping again lmao.

Anyway, the concept is like aphmau and Aaron's relationship and how that sort of developed. With a few changes obviously.
So of course there's be the enemies to lovers plot line and for the sake of my own sanity, yes- they will be closer in age, maybe even same year, compared the og show.
I'm sorry, I can't do like season 2 with a college student liking a highschool student. I know why and loved season 2 its just... That's not the troupe I want
So, into the actual concept:
Like Aaron, Zhongli would be the 'alpha' of dragons but hides that identity.
I think that for reader(female, sorry men), she'd probably be a transfer student, top of her class, just to throw in academic rivals on top of it.
Also, I'm gonna pull this out of my ass memory of the show so please beware of false plot points I may say of the show since its been so long
Anyway - and since in the classes they share, she's been the only one to break this stoic boys facade and well, that causes jealousy among the girls who like him
So, sort of like the show, reader ends up bullied and starts falling behind, slowly at first but then it just builds and builds.
And the bullying gets worse, going from trying to get her away Zhongli to bullying her about her failing grades.
And soon enough, she just doesn't go to school anymore, far too afraid and ashamed to face anyone, especially when she could hear people talking behind her back.
And guess what, one of the few people who didn't was Zhongli. Who was reluctantly falling for her but denied it heavily. And when she stopped coming to school, he was concerned. Greatly, especially since she's uncharacteristically been failing
So one day, as his passing by teachers, he happens to over hear them talking about reader dropping out soon due to bullying and the teachers trying to stop the bullies, even if they're a bit late.
He happens to overhear who it was, and is pissed.
AAAND that's where my brain juices die out. I'll probably come back to this concept since I like it very much.
And yes, I'm aware there wasn't much enemies to lovers here but I wanna give that its own post.
