Thinking about flower prince!Phil again and im so sad he cant be introduced into the plot yet bc hes so fun as a character he is the enabler to technos terrible habits and he can and will get all the war crimes. Kind Dadza where? Not this fic. At least not how it usually goes LMAO

Flower prince!Phil is the sort of guy who would cut off heads just bc he feels in the mood. Techno will do it if he feels he’s got a good reason to but Phil will straight up go “are there enemies within reach rn? Great i woke up annoyed today im gonna brb” He’s the type of person to laugh at someone begging for mercy bc no??? Youre not gonna live?? Lmao?? You committed treason, idiot. Sword to the heart. He smiles plenty but most of the time those smiles aren’t something kind. They dont reach his eyes. His face is a constant mask. His laughs are always a little forced.

Tommy absolutely baffles him

Tommy and Phil are a fun idea i dont have the relationship entirely in mind yet but its something along the lines of Phil constantly and consistently being so confused by Tommy overall. Bc when he DOES eventually meet Tommy, he expects him to be a proper raised son of Technos. So, a kid raised with blood and war in his veins. But while Tommy surely does have spirit, he also has this unshakable kindness to him, and Phil is just??? So thrown off??? “How are you his kid” -Phil, in every interaction with Tommy, staring at Techno with utter disbelief. Why would the king choose THIS kid?? Like. Yeah theres potential. But also THIS kid??? The kid weaving flowers into crowns? The kid singing loudly offtune with the songs his bard is playing? The kid who keeps throwing himself carelessly into any situation where he MIGHT be able to help?? It seems like an all bark no bite type of situation.

And then Tommy does show he has bite but thats so much farther in the plot.

Tommy, in return, is terrified of Phil btw. For so many reasons.

It turns out that, rather than space orcs, humans are more like space cats. We believe ourselves to be the best species in the galaxy when we actually are taken care of by more advanced aliens while doing little more than be adorable and destroy local wildlife when left to our own devices.

AU where Phil is some big important name so Wilbur, his son, obviously needs a bodyguard to go anywhere, lest he gets kidnapped for ransom or something. His bodyguard is Tommy, who in EVERY SINGLE INSTANCE where things go wrong, gets mistaken for being Phil’s son, bc Wilbur’s face isn’t publicly known, and when you hear “grab the Craft kid” you’re gonna go for the blond haired teenager instead of the full grown guy who looks far more like his mother than his father.

Best part tho is every time Tommy is like dragged into the back of a car with the bad guys going “as long as your father pays up no harm will come to you” Tommy cant help but go “oh you mean my BOSS???” Before then causing chaos in kicking all their asses

Wilbur is slightly exasperated by the fact Tommy keeps mistaken as him, if only because he isnt trained or anything to stop Tommy from constantly getting dragged off. Phil is like “well the decoy strategy is really effective” but after enough time of Wilbur being upset, Phil hires ANOTHER bodyguard (Technoblade) specifically for Tommy. Bodyguard for the bodyguard.

So now, whenever they’re at big events, Tommy is mistaken as “Wilbur Craft” and Wilbur and Techno are seen as his bodyguards. Phil thinks it’s a decent protection. Hiding in plain sight kinda thing. As long as his kid isnt the one getting shoved into trunks.

OH SHIT add on detail where one day Wilbur does get approached by the bad guys but its literally just to get bribed. They’re trying to bribe him to let them get “Wilbur” and he has to pretend that he’s TOMMY , the BODYGUARD, and pretend that he’s convincingly getting persuaded TO LET “WILBUR” GET KIDNAPPED FOR THE SEVENTH TIME THIS MONTH
