Grayscale wally is... well... not naive in my eyes but maybe not aware that you guys aren't the tightest.
No matter if it's you pushing him away or saying something sarcastic to him so that he'd leave and you can just be on your merry way or continuewhat you were doing, he wouldn't really understand what you are trying to say with these hints and rejections.
For grayscale wally to see you as his so-called "buddy", I think it would be because of that one day where you decided to be... a little nicer to him and help him out.
Who knows. You could be those tsunderes who turn into some wise person who gives out advice and then next day, you're acting as if you didn't even glance at him.
If you directly tell him to back off, he might feel a bit down but, in my opinion, Grayscale wally may even know himself that you don't really mean those words or silent glares.
Despite the rejections of friendship and ignoring Grayscale Wally, he sticks to you. He sees that even if you say anything to try and make him leave, a small faint of hesitance always contorts in your "grumpy" expression that's plastered.
Grayscale Wally tries to maybe even make you smile, even though how he is overall. And you hate it. .....

Though in your heart, you know that no matter what you say or do... he's gonna be there. And... you like that.
Grayscale Wally is the cutest and yet... so... "gray" and broken down. Emotionally, I mean. You want to be there and maybe even consider yourself as his buddy. It wouldn't be so bad..

HEY GUYSSSSS-... I'm sorry I have been so inactive for these pastt.... ..... it has been... a year. Maybe two. I can't recall. I have been really busy with my personal life and it has taken a toll on me but I am doing better than I was before. I'm not going to be...that active in this app due to my life being so busy much more now, but in some days I will probably be writing and being active.

My Favorite characters from MHA would probably be Twice, Toga, Dabi, and Shigaraki. (JUST LITERALLY THE GANG-). Then for WH, it would be Poppy and Howdy, Lastly, it would be Kazuichi Souda, Gundham Tanaka, Gonta Gokuhara, and Kokichi Ouma.

very, very, protective but does not show it......sometimes.
Even after his daughter's death, it's much worse. Walden makes sure to keep his eyes on you, weather in cameras or sending one of his workers or Barnaby to keep an eye on you.
He doesn't show that much affection but if you ever think of leaving him, Walden gets all emotional and affection, like holding your hand or caressing your cheek (Manipulative) and will bring up Julie to bring you guilt; "So, you're going to leave me just like Julie did now...?"
but then after you apologize, He's all stoic and cold again.
His language of love is acts of service or words of affection but that is rarer than often.
Holds your hand when no one is around.
Sometimes you guys do have some serious/deep talks or (rarer) playful talks and actions.
Even though it is hard to see if Walden does really care for you or not, but he does really.
Do you see anyone talking to you now that you're with Walden? No? Talk to Walden!
Basically, threatens the other workers in the coldest and most stoic way to not talk or look at you in a foolish/lustful way.
When he has the time, Walden makes to visit you and ask how you're doing and stuff and....maybe give you a kiss on the cheek or a pat on the shoulder.
I don't see Walden the type to be affection but I'm not saying he never does it. It's just rare.
Overall, Walden is very protective, talkative around you, and VERY manipulative. You think you can handle?

Asahi seems the type to love instrumentals and classical music.
When meeting Asahi, you both were inseparable talking and talking about your hobbies and interests and dream jobs. Then you mentioned being part of orchestra and that has caught Asahi's attention.
Loves to listen to you when you talk about how it was like a dream come true to become a part of an orchestra.
Every time you get nervous to perform; he's there for you and when he's not, he'll always send you a message like: "Good luck, __!" or something like that.
makes sure you get lots of hugs before you perform.
Asahi loves to see you practice and sometimes even helps you with whatever you need help in.
He knows how you'd get nervous and worried before a play so before entering, Asahi makes sure you do some excises to help you with your nerves.
After the play, He gives you a big hug and tells you how proud he is of you. I know it's a bit cheesy, but it's always been like that with you and him.
Overall, Asahi is just someone who is very kind and very supportive on what you do in your life, Even comforts you when you have your ups and downs. Maybe sometimes emotional but he's always there for a good long or short talk.
(Honestly, I used to watch Haikyuu and I'd remember how Asahi, Kiyoko, and Yamaguchi were my favorite characters in the show. Also, I didn't know if you wanted the time skip of Asahi or not so, I just did random-)
