A piece of unsolicited advice: When I was young I've always had fears about my future. I fear about failing an exam that is set in a week. I fear about failing people's expectation. I fear about not being good enough on an upcoming recital and not winning my game. I fear about the things that are set in the future. The thing is, I've always been scared of what the future holds even before I have yet acted on a certain thing. Months after my graduation, I have yet to realize some things (which if given a chance I would have done differently) and for that, I can now tell you that I've been there. I've been there cramming on the last hours before an exam, stressing before a presentation, before a competition, before a test, before a game, before an interview and I learned that: It's okay to fail sometimes. It's okay to be nervous, that's normal but never ever let your fear nor your failures rule what sets your future. BE IN THE MOMENT. SEIZE IT. SAVOR IT. LEARN FROM IT. Because you don't wanna ask your old self: "What did I do with my life?" It's okay to have a peek on the future, to have a clear image of what's ahead, DRAW YOUR GOALS, SET YOUR DREAMS, but never confine with it because the moment you devour yourself in the idea of the "future", it is the moment that you start losing the "present". Just try to be your best self today (that "best" that is enough for yourself and not anybody else) and don't worry much about tomorrow. Things will fall into their right places eventually, in the right time with the right effort and with the sincerest prayers. #Thoughts #Thoughts #Thoughts 💭
