It's impossible to get second male syndrome with LBFaD (despite Lord Changeng's absurdly good looks) because they're like:

Lord Changeng: no one can know I'm in love with Orchid even though she's the love of my life. If my brother finds out, she'll be in danger and I cannot protect her.
