"Look, I-" Orion stepped back and eyed Fenrir's hand with suspicion. "I fell for this alpha spiel once before, so sorry if I'm not eager to repeat that."
He was. But he couldn't trust that judgement. He still didn't trust it as he took a step forward and started to reach out, before hesitating.
"I can leave, right? I wouldn't be stuck here? Cause I am not made for the snow." Even with his rising body temperature, and the warmer air, the shorts and sandals left him feeling a chill. "Or to be without a shower."
"Yes, I'm aware I need to start policing my people. False Alphas who use their position to hurt others will not stand."
He was angered to hear that the other had been hurt by someone claiming to be an alpha.
"I would never force you to stay here, Orion. I brought you here to hunt with me. That is all. This place is wonderful for hunting. And for pack bonding. I have a house here as well. Though it does not have indoor plumbing. It is warm, and safe."
His hand was still held out.
"Do you wish for me to become your pack?"
