the argument is not You should be forced to carry the fetus to term if you find out they will be disabled because otherwise its eugenics, the argument is, in this hypothetical scenario where you: want a child, you are financially and in all other ways capable of raising a child, and the only reason you want an abortion is because the child would be disabled - THAT is eugenics. you've learned and internalized that a disabled life is less fulfilling, less rewarding, less worthy, lesser.

the issue isn't the abortion part of this hypothetical, the issue is the internal belief system someone would have to choose to abort a fetus that will be disabled for no other reason than they don't want* a disabled child

the abortion is still a morally neutral act. but you ARE an ableist piece of shit.
