what you were
what you claimed to be, and appeared to be when we first started talking is so ridiculously different to this person that you are in reality. I don't understand what happened and how we were getting along so well, and hanging out really quite often, and now suddenly it seems to have just fizzled out. I understand you are starting your business, and that makes you busy, but I feel as though you are making your business a "convinient excuse" but I am just not sure.
I refuse to be that clingy girl always thinking about herself, but a gentle reminder every now and again that I am not actually wasting my time, and that you do want more then just sex, is a nice touch to make. maybe I am just over thinking as per usual. seriously fuck being a libra. youthfully me xx
I have a best friend.....and her name is vodka.
2013
I cannot believe it is over, and that is already the second day of the new year. I hope that this year takes its time, because as cliche as it sounds, its seriously going to be the best one yet.
Take my hand, I’ll teach you to dance
Letting go.
Completely letting go of everyone in your past is such an exhilarating and yet somewhat scary thing to do.
I mean they make no effort for you so why should you make effort for them? But its that little bit of doubt that, oh maybe they will come back, maybe everything will be alright, maybe you are over thinking it, that haunts you and stops you from doing anything about it. It is certainly one thing to leave ex's in the past, because lets be realistic, thats where they belong, but leaving friends, people you have bonds with for years in the past....thats another story. So why was it that much easier to get rid of them, but not the ex's? The human mind, especially mine, is a concept I really don't think I am ever going to understand..... Point is, it is done, I am done, and I feel refreshed as fuck :) youthfully me. xx
When it all goes terribly wrong.
To be honest, looking back on my past relationship, I truely wish that we had never met, that we had never gotten drunk and hooked up, or if we had hooked up, it ended there. That dates didn't happen, that feelings didn't emerge, that we didn't go into a relationship, and that we most certainly didn't fall in love. I wish we hadn't moved in together, and I wish you hadn't broken my heart. To be honest, none of it was worth it, I didn't realize how unhappy, and for how long I was unhappy! The point is, to this day, I wish we had never ever met, and that you were still just another person who crossed my path regularly but meant absolutely nothing to me. Like two ships crossing in the night. Youthfully me. xx
Something new.
I have started seeing a man, and we have been dating for a few weeks. Normally around this time, in fact pretty well right on cue, I will start getting the where is this going anxiety. The questions like "is this going to become something? what will happen next? what are we!!?" all start rotating through my mind on a very very regular basis. So much so that it gets to a point where I seriously start over analyzing every little detail of each of our meetings, no matter how big or small. So, like I said, on cue these feelings have begun happening to me, and normally when I get an even slightly vague response, I go into an all out fit of anxiety, as I am terrified of being screwed over once again. But this time, its different. From the get go we have known each others intentions as we met online, and it is plastered there for every last possible candidate to see. We were both looking for dating, that potentially could lead to a relationship. Today we had "the talk". Yes, that dreaded conversation about the birds and the bees, about what is happening, pretty well the deciding moment on where that relationship is going to go from this point on. it was a vague reply. However, this time, I am not having conniption fits what so ever, because honestly, I am just so happy with where we are and I am worried that anything more or less will spoil it. we have both recently (maybe me more so then him) have gotten out of relationships, and are both very anxious about taking that next step with someone new. It is something that we have decided to take slow. Now the point of all this, is I don't know what to make of the emotions I am feeling, purely because they are all so foreign to me? Does it mean I am growing up? Does it mean that I don't want it to progress? At this point, I am so so happy that I have met this man, and that we are taking things slow. I love how much we have in common, and how we can have discussions of conflicting opinions without either party getting upset. I am so happy that I have met a man who is completely different from every other person I have ever had any relations whether sexual or mental, and who is so different from what I ever thought my "type" was. but most of all, I am so happy, that he is so real, so honest, and just doesn't play games with me. It really is a rare thing. youthfully me xx
