Aiden looked at his best friend and quietly nodded. If someone ended up like Ned, he probably would not forgive himself for that. But even if it was stolen by a Hermes or Nemesis kid ( she could’ve just been saying that to make him feel better, too ), it was still his fault. He tried to push that matter aside and tried for a smile, which ended up looking sheepish. Where would they start the search? Aiden pulled out a map – yes, he had made a map of the island – and scanned it. If a Hermes kid had stolen it, he could’ve put it in Apollo’s dormitory – or worse, given it to one of the demigods as a gift. They did like their music. “Callista … the Apollo kids,” he said, running his hands through his hair.
His mind was ticking around, it was like a countdown until Aiden gave up on himself but that’s what Callista was for -- she restarted it. Then, his smile made her lips quirk into one for a minute before she watched as Aiden finally started to do something but worry. Her eyes watched as his scanned the map and she couldn’t help admire the brilliant way his mind worked. Finally, the verdict: the Apollo kids.
“And you’re positive? Is there any way it could be any of the others? Dionysus maybe? I mean, you’re right Apollo is definitely the smartest choice though, you’re right.” Callista’s eyes scanned the map for a few moments just memorizing it further -- then she nodded.
“Alright, before we leave -- is everything here good? Nothing too out of order that could cause an explosion or anything?”
