• he took you out to the movies and you saw whatever your favorite movie was
• you were in the middle of cooking some pasta for dinner
• he came up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist
• his head on you shoulder
• placing gentle kisses on your neck
• poor baby just wants some attention
• ‘Johnny I’m cooking, can you please wait?’
• after y’all done eating the awesome pasta you have cooked
• he gently grabs your wrist and pulls you onto the couch with him
• he lays down on the couch and pulls you to his chest, wrapping his arm around your waist
• the other one gently stroking your hair
• your legs are tangled together
• your head is on his chest, listening to his heart beat
• watching his chest rise and fall
• your arms are wrapped around his torso, gently rubbing his back
• the best way to wind down the day
• his favorite thing to do is hold you in his arms
• let me get back on track
• occasionally he looks down, checking to see if you’ve fell asleep yet
• light snores that are oh so cute
• eventually he’ll get up to carry you to bed
• you cling to him as you’re being carried
• lay your head on his chest as you get in bed

• basically the same position as you were earlier
• sweet whisper of ‘I love you’ before he falls asleep as well
• the best sleep you’ve both had in a while ❣️
