A messy sketch for day 21 of MXTXTober, prompt “Cry”. In the extra stories when Xie Lian is eating all alone it honestly made me cry so I drew him crying in this scene. I will probably return to this sketch after October. This part of the book just got to me even if the short story ends very sweetly.

WIP progress. I essentially redrew it and shifted the colors but I’m already liking it more. I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to draw for todays drawtober/mxtxtober so I went back to day one and fixed this one some more.
