Hello, everyone. It seems that once again someone is taking scanlation groups’ projects and trying to sell them on amazon. I was informed that our version of Long Night Sweet Porno was being sold. As I look into the issue, of course there was a lot more works up there.
As you can see all of these have some things in common:
Title format: Made up english title (English Version): Yaoi Manga
Faux author: they don’t list the original author, but use different japanese names so it seems legit.
Covers: Same font for the title with “Yaoi Manga” under it.
Wonky previews: If you open the preview of the ebook, the pages are rotated and cut-off.
Please help us report these. If you scroll down, you’ll find a link to report inappropiate content (you have to be signed in to report though).
You can put “misleading” as an issue and explain the content is illegally published, the author is not the one listed, there’s no english version of that manga, it’s low quality and whatever you see fit. The sooner amazon can look into it the better.
The projects they took from us were Long Night, Underskin, Hi no Ataranai Basho and Nibiiro Musica. But please do report the rest of the titles. You can see many of them in this search. Hope the groups affected can see this and take action.
