šOsaka Castle || Osaka || Japan The view of Nishinomaru Garden. A perfect park for family picnic or just chilling out in the late afternoon. Since I went there during summer season it was humid eventhough I was standing under the tree shades. The weather was pretty much like when youāre in Malaysia. Anyways, saw in reviews from other travelers Instagram and blogs, this place would be lovely if itās during spring and autumn season. I would probably plan to go to Japan during a different season this time. šOsaka Castle || Osaka || Japan Inside the guard post near the Osaka Castle main entrance. Met an ojisan, a volunteer who loves the history of the Osaka Castle or locally known as Osaka-jo. Despited his limited English, he gained my interest when he told me a brief history of how the soldiers of those days protected the castle. Along this hallway thereās a number of hidden walls and windows which they used to plan an attack if the enemy evades from the outside. Since this is a preserved historical building, we need to take off our shoes or sandals before we go inside the building. š7-11 near Sakura Hotel || Osaka || Japan My kombini store experience in Japan are satisfying and it seems that I canāt get enough of it. Only less than 5 minutes walk from my hostel, this is the place where I usually grab quick breakfast and then bought a few buns where I can eat later on if Iām hungry. Tried the infamous corn hot dog that I always watched from the Japanese drama/anime and my skills was crappy when I tried to squeeze out the sauce. It came out messy but still taste good. I explored alone using my Osaka Amazing Pass for 1 day unlimited ride in using their public transport such as the subway and bus. šHotel Sakura || Osaka || Japan One of the quick meals that I usually had when I were in Japan. It mostly were take out from Family Mart and 7/11 because I personally thinks that they serves variety of food as well. Not too mentioned that I love to try out every flavour drinks that they have. The Japanese called the convenience store as a ākombini storeā and unlike our 7/11 in Malaysia they do sold lots of things. Some even have photocopy service and ATM as well. Since I want to make most of my time in Japan, I usually take out from these kombini stores and have a picnic outside at the park and then continue exploring after a quick break. Since my sister and I were tired, we decided to take out instead of dining out so that we can rest early. Now my Kyoto series has ended already and I will be posting more on Osaka trip. šHotel Sakura || Kyoto || Japan Staying at this hostel because itās near to the subway. Itās kind of small though, and it reminds me because Iām in Japan, of course there are limited spaces. Their common room is on the top floor and they provided everything, well atleast got a microwave, a fridge and even a vending machine. šOsaka Station || Osaka || Japan It was kind of rushing went we bid goodbye to Kyoto. I personally really like Kyoto and Iām looking forward to come here again. Upon entering the Osaka Station (not sure the name of the actual station), I felt overwhelmed with the dense crowd. Thereās a few train services and each have their own lines.
