Of course they would know you had a crush, they both feigned surprise and begged for names and how and when this crush started. I mean, seriously, who could’ve caught your eye? You wouldn’t tell them which gave them both at least a little hope it could’ve been one of them.
Though as you dropped more hints, they learned they were an upperclassmen.
Well, sucks for them but just because you have a crush doesn’t mean it will be reciprocated— but they were proven wrong.
You would gush about the interactions you shared with your crush to the two, leading to some snooping. But they would never seem to catch you talking to whoever this mysterious yet charming guy was.
That was until you came forward with some news at lunch, with glimmering eyes and flushed cheeks you announced…
➺ Riddle Rosehearts
“Me and Riddle are official.”
Neither of them are happy, far from it. They hide their true opinion of it. Yeah, they would be upset no matter who it was but Riddle? He was a psycho when they first met, caused a lot of trouble for all of them and somehow you caught feelings for him.
But you have a rebuttal towards Ace, he was your first bully when you came to Night Raven but you’re still friends. One can argue he’s still your bully actually.
But then they find it hard to imagine Riddle in all those rants you went on about. Before you and Riddle began dating, you freaked out when you went on a study and brunch date with him.
He wiped your face and leaned in close enough you could feel his breath against your ear. Good for you (I guess) but it’s hard to see Riddle doing that.
Their first reaction is to go to Grim and just unleash every thought they had on the matter at him.
“I mean seriously Riddle? He’s shorter than both of us! Isn’t it crazy since I was always the closest. I walked [Name] to class multiple times but it’s special when Riddle does it. It’s so dumb. I bet they’re both too shy to do anything to the point where they just look into each other’s eyes. That’s so awkward!!” Ace rambled.
“Yeah!” The only thing Deuce could do was agree since Ace was already saying everything on his mind.
I think the first week they’re in disbelief and just go silent whenever you mention Riddle. The second week is when the teasing starts. By teasing they’re actually helping you since when you see Riddle, they push you into him. Which always leads to Riddle catching you and both of you getting flustered.
As much as they did like you, as said by Grim, they need to accept it. Deuce seemed to be the most crushed out of the two but that’s just because Ace hid it behind indifference.
They’re both the people who will always be on your side when you and Riddle have a fight. They don’t just blindly agree though, if you did something wrong they’re going to tell you.
It’s hard to say if they will lose feelings for you after you started dating someone else. I think they won’t ever lose the affection they had for you but the crush and the potential you had together will be pushed to the back of the brain for as long as you were happy with someone else. That’s what mattered more.
➺ Cater Diamond
You shoved your phone screen in their faces and showed a video recording of Cater confessing to you with a poster and flowers. The video ending with you hugging Cater and his arms wrapped around you.
Okay with Cater it’s not as big of a surprise. He wasn’t clueless in dating but not what you would call “experienced”. Looking back at everything you gushed about it did sound like Cater.
All the mentions of selfies and how he would always take pictures of you, remarking how cute and photogenic you were. It checked out seeing how often he posted you in the past few weeks, they’re kinda mad they didn’t realize it sooner. Of course there was a whole post on his MagiCam announcing your relationship. Just to be expected of Cater.
Deuce asked if you were okay with your relationship being out there like that and surprisingly you were, not caring how embarrassing it could be.
Ace is the one who makes you feel embarrassed about it though. He points out and laughs at all the photos Cater posts of you two. And yeah he left some satire hate comments.
The first week is almost unbearable, especially because Cater is pretty open about how his happy-go-lucky mood is because of you.
“After months of constant rizzing and going out on dates, they said yes.” He would proudly proclaim to whoever asked.
Ace accidentally cut him off mid sentence to tell him to shut up and then Deuce has to apologize. Ace is slightly hostile to Cater while Deuce is just short with him but that eventually goes away.
Whenever Cater is anywhere near by. Ace says “Oh look it’s your boyfriend go kiss him!” But before you could react Cater is already walking over and steals you for whatever reason.
➺ Trey Clover
“I managed to confess to him… Trey said yes.”
They were surprised, Trey was a wild card but it’s not like he was the worst out of the upperclassmen. But it all made more sense how when you would come over to Heartslabyul, you’d always go to the kitchen saying you’re hungry and wait around until you found Trey. Not only that you wouldn’t even eat. Same with how you randomly took an interest in baking and started taking lessons from Trey.
Deuce is awkward and Ace is slightly irritated but both congratulate you but Ace mentioned how it was weird you had to confess. Though that led to you going into a strained retell of how you confessed and how Trey reacted and how wonderful it all was.
Trey did seem sort of distant when with you but that really didn’t seem to affect how you were with him. Ace and Deuce got the slight impression Trey was inexperienced. Deuce wasn’t one to judge but Ace was the one to scoff at it.
Trey wouldn’t mention it unless anyone asked, more importantly when you saw him at lunch or during school Ace would try to push you over to him but you insisted you wanted to leave him alone. Why is that? You two didn’t seem to interact much even though you were dating.
Ace and Deuce mentioned this to Grim, just because they were nosey and all. “Seriously you think they’re distant? Man if only you KNEW… [Name] is almost never here because they’re out with Trey and when they are home they’re talking about how much they want Trey to come over.”
So that’s how it was, they’re the more hidden couples but in private they act completely differently. Additionally, that explains why you’ve been texting them less after school. They don’t have a lot to say besides the normal anguish that comes with unrequited love.

“I think me and Horton are dating?”
Oh yeah that’s pretty normal, just you announcing your possible relationship with the most powerful fae in school and the future king of Briar Valley. Now what’s with that vague wording?! It’s either you are or you aren’t.
They shake you and demand answers out of you. But you can’t answer some of them. The truth is you confessed but you received a vague answer back. “How cute… I admit somehow my heart aches with approval.” That’s all you got back.
Now Ace, you and Deuce began theorizing what it meant. You hoped it to be acceptance but the other two prayed you’d be rejected. You’ve told them everything about this “Horton” which was later to be discovered as Malleus Draconia… Despite the discovery, you still had feelings for him.
They knew who they were up against though. But they weren’t even sure if it was a competition since you’d had an interest in him and he may like you back. But they’ve never been the types to back down.
You raved about it over and over to them, though they would talk down your excitement. You were really happy and it’s not like they don’t want you to be happy but… you’re not even dating so just hold your horses. They tried to make so points like Malleus is the heir to Briar Valley so there’s issue with that and his emotions can cause devastating storms so leaving him on read may or may not tear down Ramshackle.
Regardless, you planned to meet with him again to confirm the status of your relationship and Deuce and Ace turned to Grim once they realized they couldn’t stop you.
They were trying to force Grim to go along with their plan of talking you down from dating Malleus, then to stop you from meeting with him at night by any means necessary but Grim could only do so much.
The next morning, you had small bags under your eyes but were brimming with joy, talking about how you love Horton. Besides how politically crazy your relationship is for Malleus, they’re supportive as long as you’re happy. Nothing changed much besides the fact you always want to talk about your boyfriend.

When you first met and he told you to leave, you obeyed reluctantly only to come back not even 5 minutes later. In fact you don’t even realize until he calls out to you again.
“I told you to leave.”
“I know, I didn’t want to be here!” You boldly said before walking off into a randomly direction. Then ending up right back in front of him. He assumes you’re messing with him.
Once he does get to know you, he realizes it’s out of your control completely and you simply lack awareness. It’s a major problem because of how large the campus is, more often than not end up late to everything.
His sense of smell isn’t the strongest but it’s the only thing he can rely on to find you. Especially if it’s late at night and all else fails, he goes out of his way.
“There you are, your friends were throwing a fuss because you got lost again.” He said from behind you, clueless as ever. “I didn’t think you’d end up here though.”
You looked embarrassed as you approached him, “How did you find me?”
“When you have a brain bigger than a pea, it’s not difficult, herbivore.” He said with a deep breath before grabbing your hand.
“Don’t get lost again.”

It is aggravating to him how one can be so hopeless with locating things. He assumed you were a careless student late to class everyday but as he got to know you he realized it was likely due to you being lost.
The first time he was confronted with the fact was when you had to walk somewhere together. “Human, let’s hurry to Mr. Trein’s class immediately.”
“Okay, so why are you just standing there?” You pointed it out and he crossed his arms.
“He is a teacher of yours, is he not? Lead the way.” He haughtily demanded and you nodded. But you went in circles for 10 minutes, bickering about it the entire time.
“I know where I’m going.”
“Clearly you don’t, what room number is it?”
“112.”
“We’re at 203 right now, you fool!”
“I thought that said 103?” You looked at the nearest number in shock.
From then on he would never trust you to lead the way, he couldn’t even trust you to bring yourself to the correct destination.
“What class do you have now, human?”

He took a sharp turn and looked back at you, “I’m taking you there, you’ll be late otherwise.”

He never got an opportunity to see how bad your sense of direction is, he could only assume based off of how others describe you. He admits he understands because his habit of dozing off is also out of his control.
With that in mind he does try to make things easier for you when giving you directions. Just simple instructions like “go straight until you see the yellow sign, then turn left” is dumb enough for you to not somehow misinterpret as long as you pay attention.
The most notable time was when he had been training alone in the forest alone and inevitable dozed off without realizing. When he woke up he saw you sitting beside him.
“[Name]…” He said while sitting up.
“I tried waking you up but I’d feel bad if I did.”
“Sorry, but… why are you here?”
You tensed up and laughed, “I’m lost, I couldn’t find the mirror room.” You quietly said. “I saw you so I just stayed here until you would wake up.”
“You do realize the mirror room is a simple path from the main campus.” He says with curiosity but you shrug.
He stands up to gently take your hand and pulls you along. “Let’s go, I’m sure Grim is worried about you.”

It is one of the many quirks about you that shows how all humans are different. You specifically are very different in terms of how much awareness you lack in a place you roam around everyday.
The late nights at Ramshackle, you somehow emerge from the darkness and you seem exhausted. He questions you naturally.
“I missed a few turns and I walked into the forest and it took a while for me to find home.” You admitted with leaves in your hair, proof of your travels through the forest. He can’t hold back his laughter. He does feel bad for you though.
Oddly enough, your bad direction ends up leading you two together. If you come home late you naturally run into him, and when you’re lost going out and about he spots you.
“It’s as if you have a talent to find me.” He says while appearing behind you.
“I really don’t, it’s all a coincidence. I’m just trying to find my way back to the library!” You proclaim before crossing your arms and heading your way.
“I’m afraid the library is in the opposite direction.” He says and you stop in your tracks to turn around and scurry that way.
“Perhaps it would be efficient if I guide you there myself. It wouldn’t be a waste of my time to check out the library.”

Jade’s hand pushes you in and the door slams behind you. You held your breath as you walked down the hall.

You cry in your head, looking back at the decisions that brought you to a Leech family get together.

“Hey Shrimpy,” Floyd called while wrapping his arms around your shoulders from behind you, “Are you busy this weekend?”
You were startled but you figured Floyd would pop up eventually since you’re in Mostro Lounge, just dining alone. You put down your phone, you knew there was no getting out of a conversation with Floyd. “As far as I know, not at all.” You looked up at him.
“Cool, you’re coming with me then.” Then he walked off. He was unpredictable as always, you couldn’t begin to think what he was going to drag you into. Your calls to him for more context and to come back were useless.
You figured you’ll ask him about it the next time you see him.
The door swung wide open and Floyd slumped down on the chair. “Jade, tell Ma and Pops we have a plus one for this weekend.”
The other twin nodded his head, “I almost let it slip my mind. Who did you decide to invite?”
“I just walked out and saw Shrimpy sitting there so I picked her.” Floyd laughed.
You were pretty much clueless on what event you’d be attending until you got a text from Jade.

You didn’t know what to think, it seemed like one big joke everyone knew about but you. You knew it was too late to back out. “Do I even have any formal clothes?” You asked yourself out loud, Ace leaned over and skimmed over your texts with Jade.
“What’s happening with you and the twins?” He was just as surprised as you were. You pushed him away from your phone and pulled it close to your chest.
“I don’t even know. Floyd asked if I was busy this weekend and said I’m going somewhere with him. Apparently it’s a family banquet?”
“I’d be scared if I were you. You know what I heard about their family?” He brought you in closer to whisper in your ear. "I hear they’re even more messed up than Octavinelle. The only reason they got so powerful and rich was taking out other families, like literally taking out. Before they were two rival families that were brought together because the son and daughter fell in love. Now the two most influential families fused to become that thing.”
You gasped and covered your mouth before leaning in to ask a question. “So they’re like… aquatic mafia?”
Ace nodded his head in all seriousness.
“And I’m gonna meet them this weekend?! I wonder what they’re like in person.” You put your hand on your chin and thought.
Maybe one eye color came from the mom and the other came from the dad. Most likely the twins took after their dad the most in appearance and height. The mom can’t be that tall, probably wears heels to compensate. Maybe she wears fur coats and scarves like the mafia wives do in movies. You couldn’t even begin to think how they would act, given they raised the Leech twins and they’re mafia.
You snapped back from your thoughts and you realized Floyd had his arm around you while Jade put his hand on your shoulder, both slightly shaking you.
You tilted your head up and laid your eyes on a muscular man with sunglasses, you couldn’t see his eyes but you were certain his glare alone would kill a man, there were several notable scars across his face making him even more menacing. His hair was two toned but grey and blue unlike the twins. They seem to have hair more like the tall woman with flawless skin. You could tell she doesn’t need makeup to stand out. When you look closer, her sharp features like her eyes and nose were much more alike to the twins. She was adorned with pearls and gold that you knew couldn’t be fake. Despite her extravagant heels, she still wasn’t as tall as her husband. Her mouth curled into a giant smile.
“Oh this is the girl.” She cooed, “I already know your name.” She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
She’s beautiful!
“Hello it’s nice to meet you my name is [name]—“ You stuck your hand out for a hand shake but the girl pulled you into a hug.
“You two are almost catching up to me now.” The tallest man went over to the twins and simultaneously ruffled the top of their heads. Floyd reluctantly nodded while Jade smiled awkwardly while greeting him back.
You were about to choke from how hard she was squeezing you, it was like Floyd if he wasn’t holding back— actually if Jade and Floyd were both trying to squeeze you at once is a better way to describe it.
Floyd watched and pouted until Jade put a hand on his mother’s shoulder. “Mom, humans are quite fragile so be cautious with the strength used.” She turned her head and let go of you.
She put her hand against her cheek and smiled, “How silly of me, I’m sorry for that dear. But…” She put her arm around Jade’s neck and brought him into a hug.
Floyd, while trying to fix his hair, was pulled into a hug with the other arm. “I missed your adorable faces. My little boys look so grown!” She cooed.
“I still can’t beat her…”
“I didn’t know you could get any stronger…”
They both remarked in apprehensive voices. Though you were still regaining your breath from her embrace, you thought it was funny how the twins were overpowered by their mom. Though you turned your attention to their father, who you haven’t spoken to yet.
“Hello it’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Leech, my name is [Name], thank you for inviting me.” You tried your best to be polite.
Seemingly it worked, “You’re a sweet one, the pleasures all mine. I’ve been wanting to meet you. Besides Azul we hear about you the most.” He was friendlier than he looked. His toothy grin revealed his jagged teeth much like the rest of his family.
You smiled back, “Only good things I hope.”
Once Jade and Floyd escaped from their mother’s embrace, they went up next to you.
“Tell the boys to call home more or text back faster.” Their mom pouted and crossed her arms, “But I guess they forget or are too busy anymore… I’m sure whatever it is, they're doing it related to their education.”
You smiled, they really aren’t aware of their violent tendencies exerted towards their classmates. Though given they’re the ones who raised them it’s likely their fault.
“How are they in class? What sports do you partake in? What foods do you like? Which one do you talk to more? How long did it take until you could tell the two of them apart?” More and more questions bombarded you from the mother alone until her husband came up and gruff yet gentle placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Honey, she can’t understand a word you’re saying.” He softly spoke to her and she covered her mouth in realization. You could make out a smile behind her hand and her husband smiled back gently.
“Apologies for my lack of composure. I’m just happy to hear my boys have friends besides Azul.” She admitted, the twins cranking their heads in response.
“It must be hard for you, poor girl.” Their dad added making their expressions contort.
“Jeez, can’t you lay off for one sec?” Floyd muttered with apprehension before silencing himself. Jade shared a similar attitude but stayed silent. You could tell there was no talking back for them, nobody would talk back to mafia parents after all.
Mrs. Leech grabbed your arms and glided her hands down to yours, “Look at your outfit, dear did no one tell you the color scheme we chose this year?” She fussed for a quick second and turned towards her sons. You couldn’t see her expression but Floyd slouched and Jade avoided her gaze. “No matter, I’m sure we have something that will work. Follow me, we’ll find something.”
She led you away with a brief remark to the rest of her family and left only the men of the family.
“Wearing all white to our banquet it’s like she’s trying to get married to one of y—“
“Don’t get it twisted.”
“It’s not something to be overthought.”
Mr. Leech let out a hard laugh before patting their backs, “It’s lonely without you boys. Your teenage years are precious, so tell me all about it.” He gently moved them.
Jade opened his eyes and spoke up. “All has been adequate. We’ve been sticking by Azul and performing duties as vice housewarden is no chore. I’m happy to have this responsibility.“
Floyd chimed in, “I’ve been focusing on basketball lately, no diff since when you last checked up on us.”
His expression remained unwavered, he leaned in to whisper “Don’t lie, how many fights have you gotten into? Not including each other.”
Father like son and that certainly applies in this situation, but in this case it’s less like fights and more like attacks.
Enough time passed to where Jade began to wonder where you were, Jade and Floyd went off to greet family members. “Hey, Jade, any idea when Shrimpy is coming back?”
“None at all, she’s with Mom after all.” Jade said back then moving to greet other family members. Even realizing Floyd had managed to sneak away.
Floyd skipping out isn’t out of character but he should know better, must’ve gotten bored and went off to find more interesting things.
“Floyd… I told you I still need to change back.” You firmly said but his grip on your wrist only tightened.
He didn’t even look back at you, “Mama wouldn’t let you change out of it, you look too good anyway.” He stated.
You coughed at his words, “What did you say?”
He stopped and looked back at you, “I said my mom wouldn’t let you and you look good in that dress.”
Your eyes flickered between him and his hand at your wrist, you thought too deeply into his words. He’s just saying that as flattery, or as a joke. It’s not something to be taken seriously but you couldn’t deny how warm your face felt.
“Let me introduce you to my family, they all want to know about you, Shrimpy.” He pulled you along again with no resistance on your end. He tugged you along until he felt you stop, he smiled back but realized where the real resistance came from.
Jade gently intertwined his fingers with yours and stood firm. “There you two are, I was feeling so lonely.”
“Jade!” Both you and Floyd called out with different tones.
Floyd, with a tug of his arm, groaned and pulled you closer, “Butt out you prick…”
Jade, with a defiant step, laughed and got closer to you two with the same grip on you, “You need to greet everyone else yourself, don’t be rude. May I add, you look stunning in that dress. It’s a blessing to see you like this.”
You couldn’t react with how your wrist was being crushed by one and the other being squeezed until it was numb, you couldn’t feel either of your hands.
The proud parents of two stood far from the sight but undoubtedly focused. “Hard to believe Floyd has the upper hand in this. I always thought Jade was more of a lady’s type.” The mother of the twins said with a hint of pride and sarcasm.
“That may be true, they may be very different but if you look closer they’re very similar too.”
“Ah, so basically they have the same chances?”
Just as the father opened his mouth to speak, Floyd tugged at you hard enough for you to trip over your own feet only staying off the floor thanks to Jade’s reflexes.
“[Name], are you alright?” Jade said before looking back at Floyd.
“This wouldn’t have happened if you just let go!” Floyd said in response to his glare.

➺ Ace Trappola
He is honestly really offended and keeps mocking you saying how you can’t keep it up forever. But once he realizes it’s been longer than a few minutes he gets actually agitated. He sits right next to you, staring expectantly. If you move away he gets closer. He gets really clingy and does everything to make you talk again. Texts you, bribes you, ignores you back, pokes you, tickles you, just everything.
“Look at the video I sent you.” He said while elbowing you, but you say nothing but just continue doing whatever on your phone. He grits his teeth and he suddenly squeezes the side of your waist. He laughs at your reaction and tries to poke at your stomach as you try to ignore him and defend yourself from his attacks. Best to give in at that point.
➺ Deuce Spade
He’s so sad, he doesn’t really notice it at first and just assumes you’re spaced out until you turn and walk away from him. He chases after you and, like Ace, follows you around and clings to you. He’s basically begging to know what he did wrong and asks a lot of questions and apologizes for everything. He still wants to be near you even if you’re mad at him.
“[Name], are you okay?” He leaned over to you but you didn’t even glance at him, just reading the book you had. “I’m sorry for whatever I did.” With no response back he looks at the book you’re reading and sighs. He grabs your free hand and squeezes it apologetically. Unconsciously you may squeeze his hand back.
➺ Cater Diamond
He’s unbearable, it feels like he’s being brutally punched in the gut whenever you ignore him so it’s agony. He needs your attention. HE NEEDS IT. You have to watch the videos he sends you and you have to respond to all of it. More importantly you need to talk to him. He will grab you and look at you in the eye and ask why. Though your silence and turning away is enough to make him sulk. He just keeps whining until you give in. Which he doesn’t know when but he’ll do it as long as he has to. He sets up a Timelapse video of you until you talk again. He uses any tactic to break your silence.
“[Name], [Name], [Name], [Name], [Name], [Name]!” He chanted while pulling your arm, “You can’t ignore me forever! He tries to talk to you for a bit, asking how your day was and if you need help with anything. He’ll probably fix your hair for you and clean up some, trying to get in your good graces again. If that doesn’t work then he does what he does best, which is baking. He bakes your favorite pastry.
“[Name], are you hungry?” He asks but no response, not even a glance. He sighs and sets it down in front of you, before picking up a piece and holding it close to your face. He can see you inhale it and you blink a few times while struggling to contain your urge to eat it. He smirks, “If you want it, use your words.”

You can see the heartbreak on his face when he greets you and you move right past him. Maybe you were spaced out? But once you do it again he’s troubled. He approaches you calm but in the inside he’s desperate trying not to crash out. He asks to talk it out and he wants to apologize properly. But once ignored again he’s freaking out. He grabs your hand and unexpectedly just hugs you.
“In order to understand what I did wrong, I must know what it was. It cannot be a true apology if you leave me in the dark.” He says earnestly though you walk away. You don’t get very far as he grabs your hand and with a pause he pulls you in. His arms wrap around you and he presses his forehead against your shoulder. “Yell at me, insult me, just say something.”

A - Affection (What is their love language?)
Quality time is the one that really matters, you could be very beautiful but it wouldn’t matter as much as your personality to him in the end. But since you’re both, he’s a lucky guy. Just long conversation about nothing useful and scrolling on MagiCam together on the couch just feels natural.
B - Best (What is their best trait?)
Just how he’s always with you, not necessarily in a loyal way but he has to be at your side as long as it’s physically capable of him. He walks you to class without asking and always finds you in the hallways.
C - Confession (How did they confess?)
He did it the traditional way everyone told him to. Flowers and some sort of gift of whether you liked the most. He hid it from you the whole day until the perfect time he planned. It had to be when it was just the two of you, if anyone even walked by he waited until they went away then went for it.

Even after you resolved everything, he may be a little bit pouty, either mad about what you did or feeling bad way about what he did. You have do ease him back in to make him act normal again.

He acted the same way he always did, at least he tried. He was both more nervous and confident around you. He was less chatty and more focused on what you were saying, but eventually grabbed your hand without saying anything when walking you to class. If you say anything about it, he’ll get embarrassed and let go.

It had to be when you were alone, which is hard. But it’d most likely be just a hangout, suddenly you two start fighting and tickling each other. When you settle down, still sitting close to him. He just gets the urge, so he does it. If you freak out, he’ll say “so you just don’t like me?!”

You honestly have to ask him or talk about something non stop for him to actually buy it for you. Not that he doesn’t care but he doesn’t get you spontaneous gifts unless it’s food because he’ll know you’ll like it.

He use to hug you more before dating but he hardly does it. But if you’re scrolling on MagiCam with him or maybe watching a movie, he might go behind you and bring you into a big hug, just to get comfortable.

He might make a big deal when he hears you’re hurt with no context, depending on how bad it actually is he might just stare at it and scold you or rush you to the nurses office. Of course, when he does bring you he waits with you the entire time.

When anyone takes his spot. Even if it’s something meaningless like someone taking a seat next to you when EVERYONE knows he always sits next to you on that side. If someone else pours you tea at an unbirthday party, he dumps it on the floor and pours you another. But it gets worse if he notices they’re physically affectionate, he would actually pop a blood vessel.
K - Kiss (How are kisses with them?)
They’re very quick and more of just a reminder of his love. The longer kisses are reserved for when he missed you or when he’s jealous.

You mostly do; since he’s nervous with saying it too soon or too often since he doesn’t want to do too much (him attempting to be nonchalant). He only ever says it as a quick thing like when you make him food for example.

He’s rude yet thoughtful. He reminds you to do your homework and if you have a big test the next day. He may tease you but most of the time it has a purpose, the other percent of the time he’s just being mean.

When you wake up, he’s sorta concerned since you seem panicked despite just waking up. Whether you tell him or not, he can tell and he urges you to go back to sleep. He hopes holding you until you fall asleep will keep the bad dreams away.
O - Open (How open are they with you?)
If he doesn’t like something, he’ll eventually tell you. Even if it can’t be said out loud, he texts you while standing right beside you. But other than that he’s direct and he won’t hide what he likes and doesn’t like for long.
P - PDA (How much affection do they show in public?)
Not a lot, again with him trying to be nonchalant. He tries not to do PDA in front of his friends because he knows one of them will say “get a room!” or groan in disgust. Holding hands is another thing he’s more comfortable with and he hugs you before leaving for class. But if he’s feeling really brave, he’ll give you a kiss on the forehead but he’s running away immediately so you don’t catch how red his face is.

Not really romantic on purpose, sure he intends to create the atmosphere but sometimes he just does what he wants so you can say he’s just naturally a romantic person. Definitely not with his words but more with his actions.

He tries to get your mind off of it, generally if you’re just down he won’t leave you alone until you go back to normal. If you won’t even tell him about it, he pesters you and if it doesn’t work. He tickles you, he loves seeing you smile you’re just cuter that way.
T - Together (How clingy are they?)
He’s clingy but not physically touch way. He can be but he’s doesn’t need to always have his hands on you. But proximity wise he will always be closest to you. He won’t ever let you walk to class alone and he has to be the first person you talk to at lunch.

He’s mean but he gives you credit for being smart. And not necessarily a compliment but he flexes your achievements to other people. When someone is talking about test scores he brings yours up first. If you aren’t very confident in yourself then he reassures you a lot.

He doesn’t like to talk about it because he gets embarrassed really fast. He doesn’t know what to say when someone asks how you two started dating. “Well I asked and they said yes.”

In private he doesn’t mind cuddling you or you cuddling him. He does just whatever you want to do, but he doesn’t like when you basically ignore him for whatever you’re doing. He pulls you away from it, literally.

Every morning he wonders if you’re already awake and then he goes to school and wonders when you’re getting there. Then he walks you to class then wonders what you’re doing. Then after school he wonders what you’re doing again, cleaning or maybe doing homework? Then at night he wonders if you’re already asleep. Then repeat. He texts you a lot because of how curious he is.
Z - Zealous (How passionate are they about you?)
He shouldn’t have to say it but he’s very passionate. Before basketball games he thinks of you and how you’re gonna watch him. He tries way harder if you’re going to be there, but it results in bad decisions like shooting the ball when he should’ve definitely passed. His teammates don’t appreciate it at all. He’s not suppose to but he looks at you in the stands during the game. He just wants to impress you is all.

You knew things were a little too perfect when Kalim suddenly pulled you aside from the party. He lead you by the hand to the balcony where you could perfectly see the moon, which was the only thing illuminating you two in that moment. He took a deep breath and took a look at you.
He didn’t have to say anything, you were already flustered just by the atmosphere and you thought to yourself. “This better not be a confession.”
“—what I’m just trying to say is, I like you so… I want to be your boyfriend.”
You gave him an awkward smile and you could see the color in his face drain as you explain. “Can you give me some time to think about this..?”
Now you’re avoiding Kalim by any means necessary. Something must be wrong with you doing THAT to him. You don’t know who to go to about this for advice and as a result you dump it on the first person you see.
The next morning you see Deuce, he spots you as you approach and waves. You stomp over and grip his shoulders.

“I feel bad but I don’t know what to say. It’s true I did need time but I can’t believe I just left him like that.” You had your hands on your head and pushed your forehead against the wooden desk.
Deuce pats your shoulder, “It’s okay you just need to tell him how you feel. But I’m not too sure about leaving him hanging like that but what happened, happened so…”
Ace leaned back into his chair and glanced over, “How do you feel about him?” Ace asks the hardest question.
“I have no idea.”

At the end of basketball practice you approach everyone with a water bottle. As you walk over to Jamil, he shakes his head.
“I don’t need water, thank you though.” He signaled to his water bottle sitting on the bench next to him.
You smile and lean in, using the towel around his neck to wipe off some sweat on his face. He cracked a small smile at you in response.
“Where are you headed after this?” You asked him.
He shrugged, “Back to Scarabia to help prepare dinner. Are you coming?”
“Ah… I’ll pass today.” You knew if Kalim saw you he would give you puppy dog eyes and pull you aside and ask for your response. Which you didn’t quite have yet. “I have too much homework.”
He blinked a few times and cranked his head your way. “Are you serious? You come everyday.”
At the very least you told him you’d walk him to the mirror room as an apology for breaking your dinner streak.
“Did I tell you I bombed an essay?”
“No, I thought you were a good student.”
“I am a good student! It’s just Mr. Trein.”
“You can rewrite it at least.”
“Yeah, speaking of which, can you read it over? I just wanna know what I did wrong.”
You turned your phone on and pulled the document up, Jamil’s taller figure leaning into you to read it as you two kept walking.
“I can’t read it, your hand is too shaky.” He put his hand over yours to steady the phone as you two walked.
You two walked in silence, reading over the essay. Jamil, in his peripheral vision, spotted a light pole you were going to walk into. With his free hand he pulled you by the waist closer to move you away from the pole. You exclaimed in surprise and turned to face Jamil after noticing the pole.
“You need to pay attention to your surroundings.” He scolded but you lightheartedly laughed.
“Jamil!” Someone called out with attitude, their voice you could never forget. You pushed Jamil off of you and faced his way.
“Kalim, you finished your practice late?”
“Yeah, we were learning a new song and lost track of time…”
You smiled at Jamil and backed away with a small wave you left without nothing but a glance to Kalim.
You had a lot to think about tonight, and a lot to talk about to Grim. You got home and immediately collapsed on the sofa where Grim half way asleep.
“Have you been napping since school finished?” You asked him.
“I was so tired…”
“I saw Kalim just now.” Grim glanced over, “I think he saw me and Jamil really close.”
He clicked his tongue, “I didn’t know you had a thing for Jamil.” He said in a surprised tone.
“That’s the thing, I don’t!!” You cried while grabbing him. “I love Kalim…”
“Okay then why don’t you accept his confession?!” Grim raised his voice and swung his paw at you.
“Kalim… as much as I love him I didn’t think it’d ever be reciprocated so I gave up on him. Now I don’t know what to do.” You confessed to him while resting your head down against the couch cushion.
You had been moping and whining about the predicament you put yourself into and you’ve more or less been saying the same things just different wording all day whenever you had the chance.
“I think what you should do is pretty obvious.” He says back to you. Your eyes flutter shut and you hum, questioning him for more.
“Just talk to him and tell him that.”
You fall silent for a minute and he assumes you’re just taking in all the information until he hears a small snore.
“Not here! Get changed first— or at least go to bed!”
You woke up early the next morning and laid there, thinking about the whole thing. He’s been waiting for over a day and you haven’t said a word to him since. Does Jamil know? Did Kalim question Jamil? Will Ace tell Jamil? Did he lose feelings now? Is he crying because of it?
Your worrying made your stomach hurt, realizing you hadn’t eaten dinner since you wanted to avoid Kalim. At least there were leftovers from a few nights ago.
You warmed up some lobster Kabsa, a bowl for you and a bowl for Grim. You had over an hour so you knew you could take your time with your meal. You sat down with him and poked your spoon into the bowl.
You two just sat in silence for a bit.
“I want milk.” He stood up and waltzed over to the fridge and got a cup. Once he returned he saw tears filling your eyes. Your eyes watered, once you blinked they all spilled out.
“Did you burn your tongue or something?!” He ran over to you in concern but you whined mid bite of your food.
“Kalim… We made this together last week…” You said with your mouth half full of rice, then swallowed your bite. All the good memories and times that made you fall for him replayed in your head. Every touch and every minute spent alone together hurt like a migraine to think about, given your sobbing.“What do I say to him?!”Grim put his paw on your hand with a sigh full of sympathy as you sobbed out.

“I did everything perfect. I mean it was dark, the moon was bright, and I held their hand.” Kalim stared down at his drum set. His two club members had their attention fully turned to their lovesick band mate.
Cater nodded his head empathetically, “How long has it been? Two days?”
“31 hours.” He sulked.
“Maybe it isn’t about what you did do, but what you didn’t do.” Lilia nodded his head along. “If you could redo your confession, what would you change?”
“I wouldn’t even do it if I’m just going to be ignored like this. And yesterday on my way home, I saw MC and Jamil and they were… Jamil had his arm around them and it looked like they were holding hands…”
The two of them audibly gasped in disbelief.
“How could they?!”
“This is messy.”
Cater and Lilia comforted him as he slouched over onto his drums.
“What should I do?” He asked them and the two looked at each other then back at him.
“Well…” Cater started then stopped, looking to Lilia for reassurance. “I don’t think they want you. Considering their response and how they acted with Jamil…”
“You should ask directly since you need to hear it yourself before giving up.” Lilia quickly silenced his negativity.
He went silent and slumped over again. “I miss MC, I miss saying good morning and having them over for dinner. I miss making dinner with them. Even after all this I still want to talk to them every day..”

“Thank you so much for rewriting my essay. I didn’t realize how much I actually had to fix.” You put down your pencil and Jamil nodded.
He was good at helping out during the study sessions, many other students also sat down with you guys and asked for help on their homework.
You noticed how tired he seemed, not that he needed to sleep but just of helping out with several different history, math, science, and language assignments.
You noticed the new necklace he was wearing was bothering him, he adjusted and constantly scratched around his neck.
“Damn necklace…” He cursed at it.
You smile, “Do you want me to get it off for you?”
“That’d be good, I couldn’t get it off myself so I gave up.”
You leaned into him and reached for the clip of his necklace to take it off for him. “Oh it’s one of these clips… give me a minute.”
You back faced the entry way and once Kalim walked out the mirror he rested his eyes on you. Then he saw Jamil.
Like last time, his heart hurt. As you pulled away from him, you smiled at straight at Jamil.
“Ah, Kalim you’re back late ag…ain?” Jamil paused as he walked up to you but he didn’t even look at him. With a surprised yelp, Kalim pulled you by the arm and tugged you away from him.
“We’ll be back.” He said firmly before pulling you out the room.
His hand held on to your wrist, he wasn’t forceful but he wouldn’t let you pull away, once it was in a quiet part of Scarabia away from the main livjng area, he let go of you but pushed you close to the wall. You weren’t sure what to say to him.
“Kalim—“
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what’s wrong with me right now.” He admitted as he turned around with his hand covering his face. “What I said at the balcony, I meant it and I still do. But I see you and Jamil so…”
You objected his comment about Jamil but he gave you an empathetic stare.
“I don’t know why but I only want you to look at me… When you look at Jamil, I just want to take you away.” His face went pink while he confessed. He stepped forward and you stepped away into the wall. “Sorry there is something wrong with me. I can’t stop you from being with someone you love.”
You were always loyal to the crush you had on him, there was no other guy you felt so strongly about.
“I missed you, I didn’t talk to you because I was nervous but I regret it. Ive always known what I wanted but when I had an opportunity I ruined it.” You confessed to him, “I never thought I actually had a chance with you.”
Now your face was pink, you trailed off slowly and turned to face him again.
“Y-you’re giving me mixed signals what does any of that mean.”
“Don’t make me say it.” You shook your head.
“No, you have to say it.” He stubbornly said back.
When you unconsciously fiddled with your fingers and put them behind your back, he suddenly grabbed them and squeezed your wrists.
“Can you just tell me how you feel?” With how things were you were forced to look at him.
You opened your mouth to speak, looking around before settling your eyes back on him. He blinked for a brief moment but when he opened his eyes you were closer, way closer.
You went up in your tippy toes and pulled him into your lips. You didn’t realize how good it was, if you knew you would’ve done it sooner. It didn’t last as long as you imagined before Kalim pushed away and backed up into the other wall.
He covered his mouth with the back of his hand, his face was brighter than the red feathers in his turban and eyes wider than the distance between you two.
You clenched your fists and walked up to him. “Now you’re running away from me!”
“Because you kissed me so suddenly!” He pointed his finger at you defensively.
You two bickered for a moment before returning back to the topic. “Now I don’t have to say it, right?” You looked up at him still flustered.
He crossed his arms, “I want to hear you say it.”
Damn even now he’s still stubborn about it!
You scoffed and cleared your throat while looking to the side. “Kalim, I like you too…”
The two of you got butterflies in your stomached, too nervous and confused to make the next move.

It happened at the worst time, during a small tea party with Riddle. With Trey serving tea and all these little pastries you felt like nothing could go wrong.
You felt something come out of your nose and you sniffle, just dismissing it until it doesn’t stop.
“MC…” Riddle gives you a harsh look.
It was sorta embarrassing when Riddle gives you that look. “Sorry sorry maybe something triggered my allergies!” You cover your nose and then you look down at your hand, you understand why he was staring.
Riddle rushes over to you with a hand towel and presses it against your nose while he leans you forward.
“Does it hurt? Are you okay? What did you do??” He continuously asked questions one after another.
Even after you insist you’re fine and nothing in particular caused it, he’s adamant on keeping an eye on you.
“I think you need first aid…” He says while staring at you from the other side of the table.

You were talking to him, you weren’t there to talk to him because you wanted to but you just owed Ruggie a favor and he asked you to get Leona and bring him back at Savannaclaw.
He was laying on the floor looking the other way while you stared down at him. “Look, Ruggie really needs you.”
“He can wait.” He grumbled.
“He said right now. Seriously he sounded really concerned when he sent me.” You tried to reason with him.
You went from politely asking, getting angry, whining, then to just pleading. Throughout the entire time he didn’t look at you once.
In the middle of your sentence you sneezed, you felt something drip out of your nose and you quickly covered your nose with your hand.
“Bless you herbivor…” he trailed off and turned his body towards you.
“Sorry this is kinda gross.” You said while covering your nose more.
“You’re bleeding.”
“It’s alright this will go away.” But it just kept going, with his napkin you had no idea what to do.
He stared at you trying to clean your hand up and also your nose until he had enough. He mumbled under his breath before picking you up and throwing you over his shoulder.
“I’m only doing this because I don’t like the smell of blood. Let’s go to the infirmary.” Though when he said that, you couldn’t see the look of concern on his face.

He was locked up in his office as per usual but you had some business to deal with. You had a temporary deal where to work for Mostro Lounge for money just for a week. Despite being a temporary employee you had the same expectations.
“Azul, please…” You bowed deeply to him. “Just let me go home early.”
“I don’t see why. It’s only been 3 hours and you have 2 more. Why not just finish off your shift for today.” He replied back with a displeased look.
“Because I have homework! I need those hours for studying.” You argued. He simply rolled his eyes and returned back to his paperwork.
“Very well, if you leave though you are terminated and won’t receive any compensation for the hours you’ve worked this week.” He said calmly with a smug look on his face.
You were about to grab him and shake him around. Until you sneezed, you covered your sneeze with your arm and held it there, feeling something was wrong.
“Your sleeve, that’s not sanitary for customers. You should get changed.” He grabbed a tissue and held it out to you. You removed your arm away from your face and stayed silent.
He almost yelled, key word almost, and stood up rushing over to you. “I don’t think this is normal for humans?! There’s so much blood…”
“Sorry I didn’t mean to get the uniform dirty.”
“I don’t care about that.” He abruptly said, “You need first aid.”
Even when you protested and guided you into his seat and pulled out the first aid kit.
“Hey, Prefect, C’mere real quick I wanna give you something. Merry Christmas!~ Look what I got you. Huh? No, I picked this out all by myself. You underestimate me sometimes. Anyway, where’s my gift? You don’t have one? Seriously, you’re so unprepared… and rude. How about instead you do me a little favor.”
It’s a small pedant with a red gem and golden lining. It looks like it could be a keychain or a phone charm or some sort. When you look closer at the back of it , you could see the name Ace Trappola and your own engraved.

A nice pair of shoes. It even came with the receipt. It wasn’t wallet breaking but more than you could ever afford. But for the quality, it was an absolute steal. Floyd has always had good taste in shoes.

A gorgeous bouquet of flowers. It was light pink with a very faint but lovely fragrance. They seemed to be healthy and growing well, before it was plucked.

Besides the invitation to dinner, he gave you a small bottle full with sand and seashells. Each shell was a different color, he seemed to pick them out very meticulously.

A small bin full of apples. There’s a container at the top of the mountain of apples with slices cut into the classic bunnies. How cute!

It was a console recently released. Idia brought it with him when he would attend classes in person which sparkled your interest. He played various games and bought you a copy of those along with the console. He just can’t keep his hands off those video games.

There’s a reason why Cater has so many followers on MagiCam. It’s because he has a cute face!! You’re not sure if he’s aware but he just has to be.
He does these tiny things like brushing the hair out of his face or slightly turning his head when he laughs. You didn’t really realize how pretty he was for a while. Sure, you got nervous just staring at him but now you can’t even look him in the eye.

He blinked for a moment. He was in the middle of drying his hair when you said that. All he could think is “Oh wow?” He noticed that you’ve been staring at him so intensely for the past few days— maybe weeks.

Just the way he looks at you can get you weak on the floor. His eyes… You noticed how his eyes squint ever so slightly when he’s focused. He’s calm under any circumstances yet so amusing in his own way. He’s the type of person you’d want to follow around just for the fun of it. And in his own way… he’s just so damn cute too.

He quickly turned his head to stare at you. He’s not sure what you mean or why. It was so out of the blue. You’ve been stalking him for a while. Of course he knew and allowed it and treated it as if it was normal.

He wasn’t sure how to feel, the last time someone called him cute was when he was a little kid. Most people would think of Jade as alluring or handsome, cute is something he hasn’t heard in a while.

It’s already canon that Idia is very attractive from the character archives book and the ghost marriage event while being complete oblivious. He’s charming in his own way.
It’s hard to believe he’s so oblivious to his good looks. His smile is nerdy yet… attractive. His personality is rough but that’s what makes him so fun. Teasing someone like him is hilarious.

He immediately cranked his head your direction with a baffled expression. He shook his head and let out an irritated squeal.
“Wh-who says stuff like that to somebody’s face?! Online I get it but this is IRL! Why does someone like you even think that?”
He just gets really flustered and ends up rambling about how it doesn’t make sense. But when he looks back on it, it gives him an ego boost for a few minutes and then he’s embarrassed because— it makes him happy that you think of him that way.

Unintentional or not, Silver has been seeing you around a lot. He doesn’t think much of it since you’re in the same school so it’s not anything crazy but when he does see you, you’re always staring at him with this… funny expression.
Did he do something wrong? He tries to wave at you when he can but as soon as he turns his head you run away or start acting like you weren’t the one staring first.
But what were you suppose to do? Whenever you saw him, all your attention was diverted to his gentle yet sharp expression. His resting face was already so deadly, you couldn’t imagine if he were to smile.

He froze with a puzzled look on his face. This was one of the times you actually started a conversation with him instead of staring and running away and you say something so flirtatious?
