i’m at such a ?? time of my life i’m just ???????????????????????? like ????????
where! has! my! passion! gone! I had it abundantly when I was a child, and I must have dropped it along the way, but I cannot figure where!
oh hey folks fun update, i found my passion again? i just had to find my right outlet, get to a place where I have aspirations, dispel apathy and pursue what I love, it’s all good and swell!
reblog this to find the right outlet, get to a place where you have aspirations, dispel apathy and pursue what you love, and rediscover your passion.
as you get older, you realize that you’re not always right and there’s so many things you could’ve handled better, so many situations where you could’ve been kinder and all you can really do is forgive yourself and let your mistakes make you a better person.
Im sorry I should have helped put the trolleys away. I should have been more authoritative and told people to do pillows.
Which aspects got me interested in environmental engineering?
“We take nature for granted and I feel that we don’t give back as much as we take. Becoming an environmental engineer is my way of giving back to the world hence I want to join EWB. Who else can save our planet apart from us, the very beings who are trying to destroy it? Like you, I feel responsible.”

Bringing this back.
I suddenly remembered how I posted this after meeting the person responsible for this quote. Back then, he was the first person that shared the very same thoughts that have grown in my head, embedded as my dream. I am still following the same path. Well, sort of... I am currently trudging along a road beside it. Still, I was pretty satisfied, somehow, I’m like a sidekick - pretty cool huh?
This year must be the Year of the Awakening. I met a person. He was a transport engineer now studying towards a Masters in Engineering Studies in Environmental Engineering. He also bears the thoughts of responsibility over the environment. My passion, my dream were rekindled as he shared his moment of epiphany. I told him of my childhood dreams and aspirations. And there it was, like the sign I didn’t know that I’ve been waiting for, he told me that I could study environmental engineering without having done an engineering degree. Yet, I was still held back by what was in front of me. I am still doing what I have been doing - trudging alongside my dream. Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty cool with that. I enjoy it.
Little did I know, another sign was about to pop up from behind my back (literally). This third person was a chemical engineer who wanted to become an environmental engineer but opportunities to become one weren’t plenty back home. So now, he’s here doing what he’s always wanted to do. Again, sharing the same weight of responsibility. I was woken up from my sleep yet I was encouraged to dream again. The opportunity is right in front of me waiting for me to grab it.
Although it might seem that I am only prolonging my studies in the attempt to avoid my responsibilities as a citizen of this world, or rather as an adult being pushed within the depths of reality, let me just think of it as chasing my dreams.

If you believe it will work out, you’ll see opportunities. If you believe it won’t you will see obstacles.

I stopped telling myself that I’m lost. I’m not. I’m on a road with no destination, I’m just driving with hope that I’ll find a place that I like and I’ll stay there. I’m not lost, I’m on my way.
