“Your guess is as good as mine,” Pax joked. “No, it’s about a man and his wife and his kids– I think. Though I’m not honestly sure it’s about anything at all. I don’t think it has a plot. That’s what makes it even more confusing.”
Faith nodded her head a bit, “Hm sounds interesting enough I suppose.” The girl then ran her fingers through her hair before continuing, “If I’m being honest though I’ve never been a fan of reading. Unless of course i find a good book of my choice and really get into it, then I’m a book worm.” She laughed lightly, then yawned.
“Oh, yeah. Our government is something to be reckoned with. Thankfully, I get to vote in this election.”
“Lucky you! I honestly want to vote so bad.”
“I mean usually if a teacher cracks a joke I know they enjoy my company.”
“That’s very true! He seriously never smiles in general though, sooooo.”
Between school and extra curricular activities, Faith was more than exhausted. She had been in the library for a few hours studying, only to end up resting her eyes and ultimately fall asleep after a few minutes of that. She’d been asleep, face down into her books on the table, for nearly 20 minutes before she was suddenly woken up by someone. As she felt the tapping on her shoulder, she sat up straight in her seat and spoke quickly, “Sorry i was just resting,” She turned her head expecting to see the librarian, only to find someone different, “Oh hey... Um... Sorry i was just... Yea I’m exhausted and i fell asleep why lie.” She managed to let out a gentle laugh, then sighed slightly.

“Okay seriously, the more you talk, the more convinced I become that you are my actual soulmate. I’m literally obsessed with Chicago Fire right now, and there’s honestly never a bad time for watching Friends. It’s like you know all the right things to say. Wait, you don’t read minds do you?”
Faith smile brightly and giggled, “Oh my god, finally someone that understand my love for Chicago Fire! Like seriously, Jimmy is a babe and i just want to kidnap him and keep him forever.”
Holden took the paper, leaning his hip against a chair as his eyes skimmed over it. A quick smile curled at the corners of his lips, and he quickly straddled the chair he’d been leaning against, laying the paper back out in front of her. “Okay, so what you’re going to need to do here is pretty easy, once you know what to do.” And then he dove into the explanation, and when he finished, he had a small grin on his lips, looking up at the girl. “Did that make any more sense?”
Faith listened to him as he explained what she was supposed to be doing. She nibbled on her lower lip a tad as well as she listened to him, a habit she’d always had when trying to understand something. Ashe finished, she smiled brightly at him. Her eyes met his as she spoke, “I think you should teach the Econ part of my Gov class.” She laughed softly, then looked down at the paper.
“Econ is a great class though,” Amy tried to reason. “You learn a lot of things..want to bang your head against your textbook. Usual learning stuff, you know?”
“I prefer Government though, but he’s making us do a unit on Econ.” She sighed heavily and rolled her eyes then laughed a bit.
Kam jumped from the voice of the girl. “Dude! It’s fine! Just- don’t- you’re attracting attention…” He whispered. A long and heavy sigh escaped from his lips.
Faith looked over at him a tad confused at what he was talking about, “Ummm..” She paused before speaking again, “What do you mean I’m attracting attention?”
“That’s possible. Maybe he does. Who knows?”
“He knows! But i seriously wish i did.”
“Well, they give you the answer. And all of them can’t be like that. The people in your class must be a bunch of assholes.” Holden furrowed his brows, and then let out a heavy sigh, hooking his fingers in his pockets and tilting his head. “I can look it over for you, see if I can explain it any better. I took that class last year.”
Faith licked her lips as she listened to him, then let a soft smile form across her lips at him. She then nodded her head, handing him the paper she was working on, “This is the assignment we got today. I understand the concept of it, but i have no idea how to do it.” She nibbled o her lower lip a bit as she always did when thinking about something, then glanced up from the paper at him.
“See, there you go. Even though you wouldn’t have Snapchat, you’d still have a good time.”
“I’ still have snapchat thought because I’d still have service. Maybe not in Canada though because I’d have to switch to a Canadian plan or else my phone bill would go through the roof!”
“Then… Ask the nerdy kids who know everything?”
“They’re so mean about it though. Like when you ask them for help they give you the face of are you stupid? then roll there eye and just tell you the answer. So in other words they’re no help either.” Faith laughed a little, and rolled her eye as she shook her head. She then sighed softly and shrugged, “I’ll just have to ask my teacher about it for the hundredth time.”
“Canada? I think Alaska’d be better for that, in my personal opinion.” Daniel laughed, “Not everyone can live a life without Snap once you’re sucked in. Living with Damn Daniel might be the lesser of two evils.”
“Very very true. Alaska is honestly such an incredible place. I went there for a summer trip a few years back and it was an amazing experience! As for Canada we stopped in Vancouver on the way to Alaska and it was pretty nice, if i do say so myself.”
Nodding, a warm grin lifted the edges of her mouth. “It’s super easy to fall into the silence and just get your procrastination on. I’m surprised I’ve made it this long.” Claire laughed a bit; she knew all too well what it was like balancing countless classes and activities. “It can be a pretty heavy load. What all did you pick ? For you extracurriculars, I mean.”
“Dance Club, A Capella Club, Yearbook Committee, and Cheerleading.” Faith sighed dramatically then laughed lightly, “What about you?”
“Well, depends on the type of teacher he is cause some teachers just adore questions since none of their students care enough to ask most of the time.”
“That’s true, maybe he secretly thinks I’m the best student ever!”
