Top 20 BL Visual Novel Ranking/Year-over-Year Comparison 2013+2012

After seeing a post about BL visual novel rankings for 2012, I decided to see if I could put together a post that would make a year-over-year (yoy) comparison of the most popular BL novels in Japan. I am doing this to get an idea of ongoing trends and popularity of specific BL products in Japan. I’m using the site chil-chil and amazon.co.jp’s popularity (not star rating) rating system (for BL games) to do this. The format is as follows:

[Picture] Original Title/Translated Title Publisher + Original Release Date Genre/Tags chil-chil ranking in 2012 || chil-chil ranking in 2013 || current (10 Nov 2014) ranking on amazon.co.jp. An entry of — means it is not ranked.

TL;DR? Japanese fans love Shingakkou and Lucky Dog 1.
