she was going to be quick, really. just a quick visit, maybe her favorite worker would be on the clock, if luck was on her side.
quick to pack up her materials, tote bag in hand before she made her way to the store. a 10 minute walk from her house, jungwon was glad it was so close. she'd even cross it on her way to school— not like that mattered, from what she's gathered, radio store boy only works after school hours. not like she's checked or anything, she's just perceptive.
nearing the store, jungwon could make out the name of it, about to cross the road before making a quick halt.
an unknown figure stepped out of a car infront, red hair falling easily down her shoulders. still, that wasn't the thing that stopped her, but, the other person. while she'd normally be quick to wave to the object of her affection, she then noticed him approach the unknown figure, taking off the mask she'd always seen on him, along with the hood.
jungwon was suddenly far too aware of everything in that moment. or, rather— aware of everything she'd been unaware of.
the figure that stood infront was none other than park jongseong, the girl she spent the last few days with. the same girl who she'd apparently assumed was a man for the past month.
as embarrassment washed over her, jungwon was quick to turn on her heel, not looking back at jay. her 10 minute walk turned into a 4 minute run, not wanting to face whatever reality she'd just seen.
