Upcoming 'Yuri Is My Job' Anime Announces Spring 2023 Debut
On Friday, the official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Miman's Yuri Is My Job! (Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto desu!) announced that the series will premiere during the Spring anime season in 2023. The announcement included additional cast members:

Makoto Koichi
Asami Seta
Yukari Tamura
They will join Yui Ogura and Sumire Uesaka, who voice the main characters Hime Shiraki/Shirasagi and Mitsuki Yano/Ayanokouji, respectively. Ogura and Uesaka also played the characters in a 2020 promotional video to advertise the manga's seventh Japanese volume.
Yuri Is My Job! follows high schooler Hime, by all accounts the perfect princess, who has big dreams of a luxurious life and always plays the part needed to get there. One day, she accidentally injures the manga of a local theme café and is formed to work there to repay the debt and maintain her facade. Hime is stunned to realize that the café is themed like a private school out of a Yuri manga, and the all-female staff put on shows of drama, grace, and romance, to the thrills of their patrons.
The anime is directed at Passione and Studio Lings by Hijiri Sanpei, with character designs by Taisuke Iwasaki.
Yuri is My Job! began serializing in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime in November 2016. The series is popular among fans for its mix of dramatic and comedic story elements. It parodies tropes and elements of the Yuri genre and Class S literature, notably Maria Watches Over Us (Maria-sama ga Miteru).
Ichijinsha will publish the 11th volume in Japan on November 17. Kodansha USA licenses the series in English and will publish the 10th volume on November 29.
According to a post on the series' official Twitter page, more are set to be announced on December 24th.
