:O How do you draw like hair and clothes ive been trying rlly hard to understand but i just don't get it ;;

Generally how I draw hair is to a point in the center of the head :> Then I add a few extra strands extending from the “X”. Use that “X” as a guide though, not all the hair has to meet at that point.

Clothing is a little harder to draw in one go, but referencing helps a lot! Referencing real life is always preferred, but I always referenced drawings I liked instead.If you have a more specific question about certain clothes feel free to ask.

How did you come up with your characters? :0

Oh actually, the three of them came from a school project. The assignment was just to do a triptych with a common theme, so I choose “Cause of Death: The Simple Trilogy of Three Morons” where they all died in dumb ways :D.

Roy’s design was kept pretty much the same, but I changed Genie and Hisei’s appearance a lot. From there I just kinda based them off negative character traits off myself LOL ;; ;

The other various characters sprinkled in are either really old characters I made or new ones to fit in with certain characters.

Huh, interesting how everyone mentioned faces (・∀・) No secret that I love drawing faces the best. Though, I never really thought it was that unique? Usually, each part of my drawings are heavily influenced by an artist.

How I see it, I think the way I draw eyes most resembles a combination of Harada (warning; explicit BL artist) and Kaneoya Sachiko. The style and format of ttcn was inspired by Old Xian, and my recent drawings are very influenced by dorae (via twitter). Also a lot of people on the ttcn comments mentioned I draw similarly to Durarara’s!! character designer Suzuhito Yasuda (also the character designer for Devil Survivor 1 and 2 and mangaka of Yozokura Quarlet), which I can’t completely disagree with because there was a point in my life when I loved his work. Not only that, but when I was slightly younger, I used to worship Daenarys (on DA not the GoT character lol) (daekiri on tumblr and daedaedaw on twitter). She influenced my coloring and facial expressions a ton back then. She and Curryuku (DA and tumblr) are the reason my lines tend to be inconsistent because dae drew with mega thin lines but curry is very thick and I really liked both.

So now I’m here. Years later with the influence of a ton of different artists and way more I didn’t even mention. I guess if you combine that many different artists you can become very unique huh.

I know this is sorta old but like, I just have a hard time believing my art is any kind of original when it’s like an absorption of so many artists. It kinda just feels like I’m a second rate version of all of them ;;; ;
