I've seen lots of takes on Echo's initiation into the Batch with him getting a 99 tattoo or something like that. But I think what happens is this:

In the first days and weeks after Skako Minor, Echo's life is a parade of surgeries and exams and feeling awful and never really being totally with it and various strange but seemingly mostly affectionate interactions with the Batch. And when he's finally feeling a bit more lucid, he realizes that he's at some point received a total cybernetics/prosthetics overhaul. His implants work better. He has way more processing power. He hurts less. Has a better range of motion. More strength. And he's surprised because he was kind of expecting to just get decommissioned no matter how many times Hunter told him there was no way in hell any of them were going to let that happen, so this kind of clearly expensive and custom upgrade is... unexpected. And he says something to that effect and Tech gets all huffy and says you think this was Kaminoan work? This is clearly my doing. And Echo says ....thank you? You didn't have to do all that. And Hunter says well you're ours now. So of course we're going to take care of you.

And that's how Echo gets very thoroughly initiated and stamped with the Batch logo (both literally and figuratively). No need for tattoos, though he probably does eventually get one. Half his body is Tech tech now. Omega voice I’m making some alterations to my trooper. Now he’s a Bad Batcher.

Something I KNOW happens on the Marauder is the constant struggle of “Wrecker closed this container/tightened this bolt/etc and now he’s not here and I can’t get it unscrewed.” Wrecker does try his best to remember! He’s just very strong okay!
