Ok kinda more niche post topic right now but I can't stop thinking about how people make Kuniharu out to be much worse than he is

Like don't get me wrong he definitely sucks. He's an irresponsible and neglectful man child and he says some very mean things about Kusuo at times, but I've seen people try to portray him as physically abusive towards Kusuo (how even???) or a cheater (???????????????) and it's like come on now. THIS guy?? He sucks so much that he COULDN'T even be those things 😭

I'm not even totally saying this to defend him (not that I hate him, I like his character and find him very funny but he's Not a good dad lol) but it's to the point it's funny to me like can we be serious for a second. THIS GUY????

THIS!! like i don't get the genuine hate for kuniharu, like i don't mean people who hate on him ironically, i mean like people who take seriously to heart and hate him like he's some sicko abusive dad. I mean he has his nice moments, he's not a good dad, he's an irresponsible, embarrassing, dumbass and THAT'S THE POINT!! That's his gag!! And he always gets his karma IMMEDIATELY after doing something stupid or jerky like when he tried stepping on tiny kusuo and instead got flipped to the floor. I even see how some fans make serious discussions regarding him to "point out" how he's such a bad father and how kusuo is a poor little guy and that he doesn't deserve kurumi or whatever and they play sad trendy songs in the background like OMGGG REMEMBER ITS A COMEDY ANIME WE ALL KNOW HE'S A BAD FATHER BRO!! 😭 and kurumi is not a perfect angel who doesn't deserve him either like remember how she gets when she's pissed?? Or how she always forces kusuo to hangout with people when he doesn't want to? Or how she accidentally revealed his secret TWICE! no one in this anime is exactly the best idea of a good person y'all why we hating the whole ass saiki family is WEIRDDD ✨

I'll be honest... I don't really care about if a ship is canon or not in tdlosk. I don't care if asou "confirms" if a pairing is real or not, literally who cares?! Idk why i see a lot of fans get worked up about "saiki x [name]" is canon they breathed next eachother for 0.4 seconds!! The author drew them glancing at eachother it MUST be canon! Like.. idk just.. ship it? Who cares, its not MORALLY wrong to ship something that ain't canon or "implied" to be. That's the point of a ship! To just ship it and enjoy it! Why u gotta care what the creator of these characters is gonna think? Is he gonna get u arrested or beat u up for it? I don't like how ppl treat ships in the fandom especially ones regarding kusuo.. using manga and scenes from the anime to prove things u DON'T need to prove! Just SHIP!! go for it!!
