Shiny surfaces / reflections Damn hard

Working on abstract drawings. First iteration is intended to be realistic. Next three are three 5 minute drawings layered on top of each other in different colors, each color from a different perspective. Next two are initial abstractions in graphite. Last one is most recent iteration, this time with color.

So this is what I finally end up submitting This is the best I’ve ever placed ears, and though the lobe is gigantic, I’m actually very satisfied with the shading and detail in the ear. I’m also happy with his eye sockets, the shading there is pretty improved
