Okay then, You ever lick the edge of a busted-up battery? Don’t. But if you did? That’s the first note. Sharp metal, tongue goes numb, jaw clenches like you just bit a live wire.
Then it hits you, it's like chewin' on static. Not the sound. The feelin', tiny needles dancing on your teeth. Your mouth fills up with that dry, ash taste, like you inhaled a campfires worth o' smoke.
And yeah, there’s a spice to it. Not the fun kind. More like… black pepper and ozone.
Take a breath and it gets worse, there’s this empty-cold behind it. Like the flavor got scooped out and replaced with absence. Your brain tries to name it and comes up with nothin'. That’s the Taken part, hero. It don’t taste like food. It taste wrong.

1. i was right, eat shit zola (lovingly)
2. i really want to have dinner at your place sometime
3. drifter remains one of the coolest people of all time
however, this does beg the question… do all taken taste the same?? like does a vandal taste the same as a minotaur??? does their pre-taken form have any effect on the texture, burning sensation, or aforementioned “needles on your teeth”????? I need to know…. who wants to join in on my science experiment
