“is this character good or bad” “is this ship unproblematic or not” “is this arc deserving of redemption or not” girl…
Lol, I agree with the sentiment that these conversation in fandom spaces are meant to establish hierarchy through "moral standing". As a Christian, I also acknowledge that Christian culture has been corrupted by moralism and legalism, which Jesus constantly preached against.
However, if you want the Biblical Christian answers to these questions: "Is this character good or bad?" Bad. Everyone is bad, so one of the tenants of Christianity is to forgive and show empathy.
"Is this ship unproblematic or not?" The more important question is, what is your relationship with Jesus Christ?
"Is this arc deserving of redemption or not?" Yes. That was the whole point of Jesus. Everyone can be redeemed, no matter their past.
These are very baseline answers, but the core of true Christianity is there: all humans mess up and so God in human form took on the eternal punishment for all the wrong we've done. If we have a relationship with Him, He forgives our sin no matter what. Relationship with Him changes us for the better.
I want to keep this pretty short, but if you have any questions about what I've said here or about Christianity, feel free to drop an ask.

the (much more NSFW) aftermath can be found here on BlueSky, and here as a direct link (in higher quality) in case you don't have an account there, so Tumblr doesn't take me out back and shoot me lol
