everyone loves to hate terfs until they realise that it actually entails rejecting bioessentialism entirely and then suddenly you’re “taking things too seriously” and you “don’t have a sense of humour” like i’m sorry but saying protect the dolls doesn’t make you immune to terfism it has seeped into every corner of mainstream feminism and unless you’re actively searching it out and checking your own biases you will always be at risk of sharing a space with terfs

It also goes without saying that bioessentialism inherently can’t be trans inclusive no matter how hard you try. “All men including trans men—” probably not. “This is only a woman’s issue—” is it really? “Afabs only—” why? “All trans men are like—” what? what are they like? finish the sentence i dare you.

Hey, funny story! Well over a decade ago, I made myself a potato-quality Persona 3 FES AMV for fun. I had it saved on my ancient photobucket account, and managed to snag the file before they nuked it when they decided to make photobucket a paid service (???). But then the USB I had saved it on got corrupted and I thought I’d lost it forever. But!! I actually found another copy of it today!

It’s… y’know. Okayish?? There’s parts of it I still quite like, so I thought I’d share it for old time’s sake.

The song is Ragtime Cat by Parov Stelar. And it has Persona 3 spoilers!

I used to sell prints through sites like Redbubble and Society6, but I never got many sales and one day they took almost everything I'd put up down for copyright reasons (most of them were fanart) so I kind of just left it that. I'll have to look around for what the best option is these days! :D

Wanted to experiment with doing more explicitly painterly stuff again, and the topic of master studies came up. I said to my sister: "the problem with my autistic brain is that if I can't fit my hyperfixations into it somehow I'm not gonna be motivated to do it."

And so we came up with a solution: classic paintings with Moogles.

This is "Moogle with a Cloud Mallow - Madame Mogme and her Son", based on Woman with a Parasol – Madame Monet and Her Son by Claude Monet (1875).
