work is slaying me and I barely have time to keep up with twitter but since it’s Halloween (kind of) I felt compelled to post the renders I’ve done of Joker and Monster Batman like the gremlin I am.

Since the original drawing there’s been a silly-as-hell werebat story in my head that boils down to Bruce not actually knowing how to monster very well at first and Joker taking the whole thing in stride/having to coach him on how to monster appropriately (being of course completely thrilled that Batman has Assumed His True Form). Especially since Bruce is having a really hard time navigating Gotham without causing total chaos, or getting in touch with anyone else who’d know how to help. Maybe he should talk to Kirk.

Today the Department of Extraordinary Upcycling salutes B&E, a pair of backyard farmers in Idaho who used a pair of old satellite dishes and a trampoline frame to construct an outstanding UFO chicken coop for their growing flock:

Although it doesn’t feature a tractor beam to lift the hens into their house, the coop is insulated, ventilated, heated, and equipped with surveillance cameras and LED lights throughout for that extraterrestrial ambiance.
