DAILY DUA
Dua when in debt #2
Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from anxiety, and sorrow, and weakness, and laziness, and miserliness, and cowardice, and the burden of debts and from being over powered by men.
Transliteration

It was a strange moment when the lesson of Love was learnt; as if the book of intellect was helpless in enlightening us -Siraaj ad-din Siraaj
Rule 1 How we see God is a direct reflection of how we see ourselves. If God brings to mind mostly fear and blame, it means there is too much fear and blame welled inside us. If we see God as full of love and compassion, so are we.

Art of Love
Whilst Mastering the art of Missing, I’ve Forgotten the Art of loving.

Ishq ki aafat mai jo jakde gaye, Najaane armaan kitne bikhar gaye ; Unhi ki khushi ka qayal tha warna, Toofan Thaaame sadiyan guzar gaye.
Longing...
Know that my heart is on fire, not that due to your absence but presence.
Aulia Shattari.
Insaan ki fitrat hai ke woh kisi bhi cheez ki sirf 2 baar qadar karta hai;
Milne se pehle, aur kho denay ke baad.
Light.
So now the heart is broken, the wounds have blossomed, the light has entered but the pain of ur departure is unmatched! Aulia Shattari
Imam Abu Hanifa and Humility
Imam Abu Hanifa once saw his son Hammad debating Kalaam (theology) and forbade him from doing so. Hammad said, “We saw you debating it, but you’re stopping us?” Imam Abu Hanifa replied, “We used to engage in theological debates, as if there were birds on our heads (ie, our heads were bowed in humility), fearing our opponent would make a mistake. But you debate wishing for your opponent to make a mistake. And whoever wants his opponent to err (in ‘aqeedah) indeed wants that person to become a kaafir. And whoever wants his opponent to become a kaafir, he has himself become a kaafir before his opponent.”
Our God, remove from my heart… (Dua)
اللهم انزع من قلبي الرياء والسّمعة والغيبة والنميمة والكره والبغض والحسد
Our God, remove from my heart the desire for showing off, boasting, backbiting, slandering, disliking, hating, and envying.
