“Yeah me neither but hey good on you for being a teacher, I don’t find many of them around these days since education has gone digital. I’m a dance teacher down town actually. I do yoga on the side too”
“I never thought I would be, but once I got to college I guess I kinda caught the bug. I taught swim for a long time, too.” He smiled, “Oh wow, that’s impressive. I’m not nearly that bendy.”

“Of course, of course. Kinky is definitely for the third date.”

“Okay here is where I’m stuck. My english teacher says that I don’t have structure to my essays but I don’t know what they want me to do since I basically follow what she says in class. Like she tells me what to do, I do it and then she tells me I’m lacking something she never mentioned in the first place.”
“Structure. Interesting. What’s the issue with this? Like there isn’t enough meat on the bones or the bones are all screwy?”

“That puts me at ease. I would hate for someone to sue you all because you bit them.”
“Okay you’re like the fourth person to bring up suing, jesus christ man.”

“If only I was given that luxury at the moment. I’m actually working on a new album right now, so I’ve been clocking some serious hours at the studio. I’ll have to watch things slowly.”
“Well look at you go. But, don’t forget to take time for yourself, alright? You’re no good to anyone if you burn yourself out.”

“Remind me not to be around your crazy ass when you’re drunk. If you bite me, I’m pretty sure I’d punch you in the nose.” Maddox arched an eyebrow at the man before laughing slightly. “You kind of remind me more of the Flash because you can be quirky as hell, but I get Daredevil too.”
“Awww, don’t lie. You’re totally into it.” He pouted over dramatically, “Don’t punch the money maker, mmkay?” Zak chuckled and grinned, “You know I’ll take that. The blindness kinda has me pigeonholed in the superhero-verse.”

“It really is! I get to sit and flirt with a cute guy and hear about his fun explorations. What more could I ask for?” She said with chuckle. “Overly sensitive eh? I mean–if you say it’s over roasted I’m gonna believe you. I pretty much only drink this to wake the hell up before work.” Camila teased. “Hummm well, what sort of stuff are you looking to do? Do you want to try good food? Or do you want to get a feel for the city?”
A smirk curled Zak’s lips, “Oh darling, I think I’m the lucky one.” He winked a bit and sipped his coffee, “The whole blind thing. I can hear, taste, touch, smell too a fault. It’s not always helpful.” He scrunched his nose, “Yeah I’ll find a better show and I’ll let you know. This is definitely over-roasted. As far as things to do... Well hell, why not just get a good feel for the city.”

“Well I can give it a shot it doesn’t hurt to. I have so many things on my list of recommendations from people; I’m not sure how I’m going to get through it all.”
“Oh I know exactly how. You get a load of snacks and lock the door and you binge like there’s no tomorrow.”

“Lions and Tigers and Bears-… I’m kidding but no seriously I heard like some girl got kidnapped in here last summer and I’ve heard things but I mean I don’t know if there’s any truth to them or not”
Zak leaned on his cane a bit and narrowed his eyes as if searching in front of him, “Well I see nothing scary...” He teased, turning to face her, “When is your friend supposed to be out here?”

“It really is but enough about that, what do you do for a living? Are you an inspiring actor like people keep telling me about why they are living in LA”
“Oh god no. I can’t act for shit.” Zak chuckled, “I’m a professor at UCLA. What about you?”

“I promise you, I’ll be your body guard like ‘Hey you, step back or you’re gonna get whacked. Don’t worry I got you covered”
Zak chuckled, “Hey if they wanna get whacked that’s on them...” and followed her at a safe distance.

“I didn’t want to make assumptions. Oh you’re a professor that could do me some good since my grades are usually right up there but they are slightly falling at the moment due to stress. Ah the classic Romeo and Juliet”
“Also fair. There should be more people like you.” Zak pulled out the chair next to him and patted it, “Well hop on down and let’s see what we can do about that paper, hm? English is my specialty. And I happen to have taught a Shakespeare course or two.”

“That’s a wise thing to do, to not bite strangers.” Joe said with a chuckle. He could only imagine who would try to sue the guy if he had went biting people.
Zak held his hands up in mock surrender and laughed, “Don’t worry. I’m not going to. Promise.”

“Phew–I’m quite lucky then.” she said and shook his hand big grin still plastered to her lips. “So–mr. Explorer Zak, how is this cup of coffee?” Cami asked bringing her hand back to cup the glass. “And where else are you going to go exploring?”
“Indeed. And I mean I just ran out so it’s your lucky day.” Zak chuckled a bit, “The coffee is fairly solid, though I think they over-roast a tad. But, don’t take my word. I’m just overly sensitive.” He sipped and shrugged, “You know I haven’t decided that just yet. Any suggestions?”

“I wasn’t sure if you were wearing glasses inside or because you couldn’t see, I do apologise if that does come off rude but I was just researching for a paper I have due Monday. Do you have the day off?”
“No, I’m not a douche who wears sunglasses inside, but fair guess.” He chuckled a bit, tilting his head, “I do. My classes all are working on papers so no need to have class today. What’s your paper on?”

“I have not! Is it a documentary?”
“Oh you’ve got to. It’s a docu-series!”
