I'm a lifelong gaming and anime fan, former Supernatural super-fan, and lover of all things Red Dead Redemption and Horizon.

About My Writing: I have written stories my entire life, but the first fanfiction I ever completed was "The Leaves Are Greener" in 2008, a Naruto self-insert fic which was originally hand-written in an old notebook. The story and its sequel, "From Embers To Flames" (2009), are jam-packed with Mary Sue OCs based on myself and my middle school friends, and not my best by a long shot. But everyone has to start somewhere, and I'm still proud of them for that reason. After that, my interests progressed to Final Fantasy VII, Kuroshitsuji, Supernatural (which I watched through Season 11 and wrote 54 fics for before losing interest in 2016), and Final Fantasy XV.

Since 2020 my favorite game of all time has been Red Dead Redemption 2, and through it I was motivated to return to writing in 2023 after three whole years of absence. This has been the main focus of my writing ever since. In 2025 I am also dipping my toes into the waters of the Horizon series, and am very excited to add a new obsession next to RDR! I am very open to suggestions and comments about what people would like to see next, so please feel free to send me an ask!

Writing taught me that every person is the hero of a story where their choices make complete sense. every villain i've ever written believed they were right. every side character had somewhere else to be. the moment i started writing people that way i stopped being as confused by real ones. people are not inconsistent. they are consistent with a logic you haven't found yet. if you're confused by someone just ask what story they think they're in.

Tilly teasing Arthur about Charles

"Arthur!"

"Miss Tilly!" Arthur looks up from his journal, giving her a smile as he sets it down. "You alright?"

"Of course! Sorry to disturb ya."

"No apologies needed. Join me?"

Tilly smiles and sits in the grass next to Arthur, her tone light. "Beautiful day, innit?"

"Gorgeous." If Tilly didn't know better, she'd have thought Arthur was staring out over the view of the lake from their spot in Clemens Point. Fortunately for her—and unfortunately for him—she knows her older brother quite well. "The view ain't so bad neither."

Arthur coughs a little and rubs the back of his neck. "Whatchu on about?"

"Oh, nothin'. Just think it's cute how you think it ain't obvious how you stare at him."

There's a long pause as Arthur clearly tries to piece together his thoughts, purposefully not looking at the only person in their periphery. "I ain't starin' at Charles."

"I never said it was Charles."

Even beneath his hat, Tilly can see Arthur's skin flush a deep red. She giggles and gently gives his arm a squeeze. "Relax, Arthur. I ain't telling anyone." Pause. "Y'all are cute, though."

"I—No, it ain't like that—"

"So you weren't kissin' him in the woods the other night? Or gazin' at each other across the fire while Javier sang a love song?"

It's rare to see Arthur Morgan flustered, and Tilly finds herself quite proud to be the one to make him stutter. "Now, hold on. We was..." he trails off before sighing in defeat. "He might just be the most incredible man i ever met, Tilly."

Tilly's smile softens as she nudges him gently. "I ain't ever seen you so happy, Arthur. I ain't told anybody, don't worry. But it makes me happy seein' you happy. You deserve it."

Arthur looks at her now, his gentle smile returning to his face. It's a smile she's only seen used with certain people; those he treasures like family, and she feels honored to be one of them. "Thanks, Tilly. Means a lot."

She pats his arm and stands, leaning down to murmur one last thing.

"Oh, by the by? Your tent ain't soundproof."

With that, she walks away with a laugh, leaving Arthur to sit with that realization.

Yes, in the benighted land of the Nora, the natural way of things goes inverted. Women rule men, and all the might of Carja metal can be deflected by logs, leather and hides. Ruins filled with bounteous artifacts go untouched, and great stretches of farmable land are left uncultivated. Only the machines—which the Nora greatly mistrust, after some ancestral conflict or another—seem untroubled by this rampant strangeness. Father Sun has no place here, and I would not be surprised to find the Nora's woman-god to be the Moon itself.
