almost didn't do this again but photos count as art so i did in fact have something for every month

wanted to quickly redraw something before drawing other things but i turned it into a whole drawing oops. my wife says the uncoloured one looks like a marble statue so i kept it 👍

whatever grappler if we’re gonna get really technical you’re 22 years older than me SO………

and “weirdass alternate universe version of myself” is basically what he has become at this point oops

the eternal problem with making ocs older than yourself: you won’t know what it’s like to be that age until you get there and it’s Never how you thought it’d be

grappler can carry on being far “healthier” than i am, minus the futuristic robot arm thought up naively by someone who knew nothing about amputees and prosthetics. he’ll get some of my shit by the time he’s 50 👍

i occasionally watch the zapgrap 10 years video just to like remind myself that i actually have 10 years worth of art and memories of them and to not feel bad that drawing has been extremely difficult for me for the past few years

it's just gone 10 years since i finished the first of the bat out of hell album illustrations and i'm glad that they still hold up pretty well lmao.
