you know that pink, raw, brand new skin that appears under a scab?

waiting for that new flesh to harden a bit

to feel less raw to the touch, to my touch, impossible to touch

i can see it when we look at each other when we fuck

i know your skin comes off

peeling off when we see each other as we’re fucking, see each other

as we’re fucking, not look but see

you’re selfish with your kisses
