chill the fuck out. i’m hella trans and yea i use ‘dude’ as well as ‘girl’ and variations thereof to refer to people regardless of gender. i have a big problem with the idea that trans ppl cant partake in gendered language and reappropriate it. yea some people can have a problem with it (and yea it’s on them to articulate that problem) but u cant expect a whole category of words to be dropped from the language just b/c they don’t describe a few ppl. besides what do u propose my genderqueer ass use for myself? “hey person check out this cool vid” “human being get out of my parking space” no thanks homie i’ll keep being dude.
