don’t mind this, im just ranting.
Here’s what I think would fit as classpects and why I think so.
Kris: Bard of Heart. This one’s pretty self explanatory, Kris is a vessel to an unexplainable eldritch identity ( US ) which destroys their agency ( heart ). Their heart is being passively destroyed, because they can’t really do anything to stop it ( except taking US out ), and they don’t actively destroy it like Dirk. So that’s it.
Susie: Knight of Hope. Knights put up an emotional facade, Susie did so by acting like a rage player. Slowly, by embracing her aspect, hope, she will learn to weaponize it more and more ( she’s already been doing so!! ) So yeah, Knight of Hope.
Ralsei: Page of Heart. This one’s a little trickier, but I think that our favourite toothpaste boy is indeed heart-bound. Why? Well, for a few reasons, actually. First, Ralsei’s always put his emotions in second. He does not consider himself important, he just thinks that he exists to satisfy others. Second, a main part of Ralsei’s character development is embracing his desires and becoming a full fledged person. So, he will learn to embrace his heart healthily. Third, I also believe that someday, he will be confronted to someone with utterly selfish desires, and he will have to stand his ground and protect his own agency ( This is just me preaching on the Ralsei weird route right theory, but that’d be cool nonetheless )
Noelle: Mage of Light. This one’s really hard to grasp on, but hear me out. Noelle is smart, we know that, she does extracurriculars, choir, track, all that kind of stuff. But, she does that to cope with the disappearance of Dess. We know that the light-bound are relevant. In the weird route, she’s forced to said relevancy, which she actively suffers from. Sorry if this is a bit scattered, but I really don’t see her as heart bound.
Berdly: Prince of Void. This one’s obvious. Princes tend to act like their opposite aspect ( Dirk: Acts like a mind-bound, is heart-bound. Eridan: Acts like a rage-bound, is hope-bound ). Well, so does Berdly. He acts smart, but he really isn’t. He’s also forced into irrelevancy, no matter what happens to him in different routes, the game doesn’t really care for it. If he’s not hurt, the game keeps going. If he’s hurt, the game keeps going. If he’s in a coma, the game keeps going. Moreover, he isn’t in the prophecy, at all. He’s nothing, and his character act will surely involve him embracing his irrelevancy in a healthy way, or maybe he will actively destroy it and force himself into the story ( Festival??? )
So, this is it! Sorry if this is really choppy, but it is my first attempt of classpecting characters. I am really open to constructive criticism, but if you’re gonna hate to hate… please don’t, that’d suck.
Hope that it was good read, have a great day!
