Art/Pictures taken by me
This was chosen because it was one of the first exhibitions we covered in class but left the most impact on me. The idea of an artificial sun has always been interesting to me as a sci-fi buff, but for him to set up a whole room reminiscent of rays shining down on your face is such an insane idea that he executed beautifully. The imagery of being in such a beautiful place but realizing that it’s beauty is just pretend, a fake version of something so natural it cannot be recreated in its true form. But also the execution in his project is so well done even by the pictures i could believe this is some street view on the outskirts of a city.
