Draco Malfoy’s living room floor slowly became Hermione’s favourite place in the world. Now that he had finally caved and at least bought a rug that covered most of the space, they would spend most nights just sitting and lying in front of the fireplace, going through each other’s works, watching Christmas movies and getting sugar highs from Molly’s cookies. Since she’d lived in Japan so long, she was used to sleeping and having dinner while seated on the floor. Even if it was still weird that one of the richest wizards in England had no desire to furnish his place, there was something so intimate about the way they were spending their time together.
