If the writers really wanted to bring back a character from the early seasons (for connection or whatever) then it definitely shouldn’t have been this random vampire chick. I personally would really love to see a grown up Lucas from the “Dead in the water” episode instead. I just can’t stop thinking how much more sense would it make.

Through the years Dean has basically lost two children: Ben and Emma. He was erased from his Ben’s memory and his girl Emma turned out to be a dangerous monster that had to be killed. Monster or no monster, child loss is a loss like no other and the pain is still real.

But looks like the show doesn’t care much about that. I mean, first Dean walks away from his son Ben and never sees him again, then he watches Sam killing his pretty daughter Emma. After all that the writers thought that giving Sam (and not Dean) a long and happy life with his son is a totally okay thing to do. What an injustice.

We all know how sweet and tender Dean always is with the kids. Dean’s kindness and care towards Lucas in “Dead in the water” just couldn’t leave anyone indifferent. So after taking away so much from Dean the least the show runners could do to make it look a bit better is to show us a grown up Lucas, who turned into a handsome young man. He’s happy and he’s kind, all thanks to Dean who once not only saved his and his mom’s lives but also helped him deal with the trauma, showed him a true kindness and support. A support Dean himself never really had.

As a child of an abusive father, I still don't get why the writers decided that John Winchester deserves Heaven. You can call me evil but the whole emotional (and probably physical) abuse and violence towards your little kids is a messed up stuff I just can't forget or forgive like that. I'd better leave it up to everyone to decide where John Winchester belongs.
