Posting this in (late) celebration of the homestuck pilot dropping. I thought it was pretty nice for a pilot, despite all the small nitpicks i have with it (mainly the pacing and john swearing a tad too much). All in all if it made a bunch of folks get curious about the webcomic, then it definetly did its job! Here's to another however many other years of homestuck being a thing!

How do you pick your colours? Your really good at like limited color schemes.

currently i colorpick from irl photos! it helped me a bunch to get out of my comfort zone and consider pallettes that id normally wouldnt go for. it also made me more dynamic whenever im eyeing up colors without references (also knowing basic color theory helps)

I make a selection of a few base tones and work from there like so🙌
