People coming out of fundamentalist religion often struggle with trusting their bodies. When I saw this piece hanging in the coffee shop, I couldn't stop staring. The idea of trusting my "body compass" to guide me would have been incomprehensible just a couple years ago. But I've been learning that you can trust your body to want good things 💜

Here's a zen statue. This was the first thing I bought after my deconversion that would have truly horrified old evangelical me. I put it on a little altar too, with candles & incense. I love it so much. Can't believe we were afraid of stuff like this.
