Farz is difficult romantically.

He's a loner and he's introverted. He's anxious, and when he gets flustered he tends to shut down and clam up.

He also has a mountain of trust issues.

He lives alone and acts like he doesn't need anybody but he is lonely and does wish for a deeper connection.

He's just a really tough nut to crack. It takes him a long time to warm up to someone enough to even enjoy their company, let alone develop romantic feelings.
