Instagram has launched an embed feature for photos and videos. In addition to users posting on YouTube, marketers can also use the new share button. Instagram looks to compete with Twitter for breaking news and current events coverage with the capability of posting content across the Web.
Tribune Co. announced plans Wednesday to spin off its newspaper properties into a separate company in an effort to focus more on its thriving television and online businesses. The new entity will be called Tribune Publishing Co. and will include the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, and six other daily papers.
